I've been meaning to join this site for a while now; I've run into it several times while trying to research information on some prescribed medications for my severe depression. I've only had some experience with SSRIs and hopefully soon I'll be able to find the right one for me.

And, of course, I hope to get some valuable information on drugs. I had my run on some, especially cannabis and meth. Currently trying to cut loose from the latter and struggling. (It's really been a struggle.)

Anyway, I'm glad to be here. Hopefully I get the chance to know a bunch of you!%)

G'day Phazo, if you're struggling at any point the people over in the recovery forums in my opinion are some of the kindest people you'll find around on the internet, don't ever be afraid to start up a thread or shoot one of us a PM anytime. :)

How are you doing? And how are you settling into the site? Have you tried the links that Trainspotter has given you above? If you have, I hope you've found the sub-forums interesting and helpful. We, members, love greeting newcomers and watching you grow from a newbie into an integrated contributing member of the site.

The Adoption Programme is a type of befriending / mentoring programme where current members "adopt" newcomers to help them best settle into the site. This can be PMing one another or helping with things such as editing profile or avatar picture. Support is a sub-forum if you are trouble with technical issues with the site. For instance, if they service was constantly busy; to give feedback.
