First of all, I'd like to start off by saying: I've read forums on bluelight for as long as I have done drugs. I've always been curious about how they got you high, how to do them, and infatuated with the culture. As of late, (June of 2011) I have been in recovery from heroin addiction. Relapse has come and gone once and this site has been a place of comfort and encouragement. I can honestly say, that this has kept me sane. I know that others have done what I'm doing and they made it and are happy. So, with that said, thank you, BL, thank you for everything.
Next, I'd like to add that I'm available at personal e-mail and private messaging for anyone that wants to talk through recovery. I need it just as much as you do, believe me. I know from experience that having someone detox with you, step-by-step, together makes all the difference in the world. Let's not be statistics.
Last thing. If you are trying to get sober, if you're dying to live a life without opiates, please act on it. It will be the best thing you've ever done. Ever. It will make you a stronger person than you ever thought. Relapse is always present, but never lose sight of the goal.
**Take it easy on me... I'm a first timer and I'm not sure what the "norm" is for these things. **
