i have read post about the poppy seed or pod tea on here. i have a few questions myself. i am interested in this tea for chronic headache/migraines for well over half my life(im 32). i go to a neurologist for this but he only gives me 30 fioricet w codeine a month. this does not last me very long. anyway, i made some tea yesterday with the seeds and drank maybe 1/3 cup over a 2 hr period. i felt relaxed but not sure if this was all in my head or from the tea. this tea did give me horrible heartburn, though. i know the tea from seeds isnt the best but its all i can find in my area. im still looking for better seeds or pods. how much tea should i start drinking for pain relief? im not looking to get high. just pain relief. and this is mostly just to help between appointments. i am going to ask my nuero about going to pain management, as this maybe a better route for me than the tea. any advice about this tea & experiences would be great. thanks a bunch! sorry if all this has been covered elsewhere...

Welcome to Bluelight!!

I am not that into pods myself as I never found them to be as useful as kratom for my w/d. We have a crazy amount of information on them...simply type it in the search engine :)

Hey from another marylander:\,well as far as the amount of pods go it varies from batch to batch, always test your new batch by only doing a small amount, this should give you a good bearing on there content levels and you can make it stronger for your needs, another good thing to do is grind your pods+stems to a fine powder then weigh out your doses,I would just save those seeds and plant them or use them for cooking, despite what a lot of people say seed tea is way lame and will barely do anything if at all to an opiate nieve person moreover an experienced regular user.
And always remember to clean those things really good, this is the most time consuming task involving pods, check for growths and mold, black spots are usually not mold but are bruises, you will know if a pod is moldy when crack it open because the smell is nasty.
In the last year or so the price of pods has gone to a ridiculous amount of money, what cost $60 dollars a year ago now cost $300 or more,I don't know what the hell happend and at those prices I don't give a shit either, they can take them pods and shove em straight up their ass:X
