Venus frowns upon me
As i cry myself to sleep
"This is your own fault" she screams
Silently i weep
Huddled in the corner
Drained of all i have
Her dissapointment echoes
Loudly through my head
Dark - but not enough
Her eyes; they still can fine me
She bores into my mind
And sets my demons free.
Venus stands above me
Looks upon me with contempt
Never has a child of hers
Let her down to this extend
"What is wrong with you?" she whispers
Softly yet she screams
Beats me harder, longer, meaner
then turns her back and leaves.
Alone again; left sobbing
Venus has left me for another day
i'm left alone and forced to join
A game i cannot play
Venus she gets frustrated
I've let the goddess down
A single icy princess
In line for the frozen crown
