alright so a close friend just got out of jail and since he's been back he's been way too fucking perverted, as in talks non-stop about nothing but sex and shit to the point i don't even want to hang out with him.

the worst part is he puts porn on, which personally is the LAST thing i wanna watch with my bros. like i'd rather watch people eating shit or throwing up in each others mouths. i've told him "yo man it's only dudes here why you putting porn on" etc. but he doesn't get it.

at this point i'm basically not gonna be around him, even though he's been one of my best friends close to 10 years now.

i NEVER watch porn with other dudes (without females present) for a variety of reasons, such as it being the wrong (worst) time to get sprung etc.

just wondering if any heterosexual males here watch porn with other dudes (no females) and if so WHY???
 
I did, 20 years ago, right outta high school. Somebody had a copy of a Star Wars porn-parody, and we were all into Star Wars, so it seemed like the thing to do. Grave error on all of our parts. I'm with you on this, it is NOT a good idea. It left everybody feeling iggy. It's too bad that it sounds like it will impact your friendship a little. Maybe come up with a tape of someone eating shit? Flip the script? :)

I'd only have a problem with this if someone starts masturbating, then again I don't watch porn on my own either so I probably don't know shit

Some people are seriously just super sex-obsessed. I have a friend like that. He talks about sex ALL the time. With only guys, with guys and girls, with only girls. Like anyone. It's kinda weird but he's actually my friend's boyfriend (well I'm friends with them both, but more friends with her). Once my boyfriend and I were over at their place and they put on porn just in the background. Aha.

But I personally am not into watching porn with others. Well except my boyfriend. I also don't understand strip clubs. Strip clubs are, for the most part, full of males just watching females. I guess I can't imagine how that is fun. When I went to a strip club with my bf and a group of friends (more guys than girls, but both), it just wasn't that fun. Most of the others thought it was but I just don't get the enjoyment of it.

I suppose it's just... people are different. Some people will be okay with it. Some people are sex obsessed. Just try and hang out with that guy less if you don't need to.
 
I feel your pain treezy z. I got a mate of mine who will literally just turn up at mine and sit in front of my computer watching nothing but guys pissing on girls / in their mouths etc.. The thing is, he's kinda the drummer in my band so I kind of have to put up with a certain amount of shit if I want to keep him around to utilize his talents. I won't watch it with him though. I did once, the first time we hung out together - just kind of viewed it us some sort of weird surreal experience (because i was like "How can anyone be into that?"). It was like a marathon of weirdness that mostly just made me laugh.
That was the last time though. When he comes round i let him watch what he wants. Whenever we hang out at a time when its too late to practice we both get real high on drugs, he sits there watching people get pissed on and i bounce around the place blasting out tunes. It's kinda funny in a way, because we talk to each other intermitently through out, as buddies do when they are hanging out, but at the same time it's weird because he's transfixed on that screen the whole time. And yeah, I find it odd that someone can just sit there and watch porn for 10 hours straight without jacking off or anything. I watch porn by myself to jack of. That's it for me. But with this guy its like living in a meth house.

That's the same way I am. If it's just straight watching dancers or an occasional lap dance, it's kind of boring. If it's someone's special occasion or we just came across a bunch of money and had nothing else to do but waste money and try to run game on some dancers ok...

I tolerate it but we're basically off doing our own thing.
 
From my POV, the guy obviously got raped in jail and is either trying to affirm his masculinity or has some sort of PTSD obsession with sex now.

Have a heart to heart with him about it. Tell him you don't want to watch porn and ask why he does.

Beat me to it... I was thinking along the same lines, especially if his personality changed to the extreme (which it sounds like it did). Might not have even gotten raped but just sexually assaulted or something.

Or maybe he just has a lot of pent of testosterone from being around too many guys. And not enough females. :\
 
I've done it a few times; nothing weird happened. That said, these days I can't watch porn with anyone without MSTing it, because you realize how absurd it all is when you no longer have the luxury of your own company.
 
It always seemed weird to me and I'm bisexual

it's different if you're both somewhat sexual attracted to one another but friends watching porn together just seems.. Idk, odd.
