Do people hate things they consider imaginary?

I really hate that Harry Potter cunt... And Joffrey too... I'd say the thesis stands...
Do people hate things they consider imaginary?

Unfortunately, It's Biblical, that people will hate God, and they will hate His followers. It's to be expected.
Jesus reassures us we are blessed when we are hated, slandered, spoken evil of, and persecuted because of His names sake. To the one who perseveres to the end and finds refuge in God is truly blessed.

^^Those are a few, fairly tame examples directed at Christianity, not God![]()
Christians loving their genocidal God is like Jews adoringHitler, and just as foolish.
To believe in bible God is to believe in a genocidal son murdering prick of a God who had his son needlessly murdered.
Way to take my quote way out of context, Tromps.. I wasn't talking about Christianity, God or anything else.. I was talking about hate itself.
So fck you?![]()

Come come now Mr Tromps, do you think you may be elevating the situation a little here? No-one hates YOU here at all. In fact, I respect you for sticking to your guns in the face of a bit of opposition. This is no enactment of parable or biblical teaching here; its just an online discussion. I can intensely dislike Christianity and like its proponents; I just think they are mad!![]()
Wait, you're using a Bible verse? I thought you believed the Bible & God to be a giant lie and myth? 8)
Here's just a few examples... I'll keep it anonymous, but it's there.
There are some that are noticeably angry and hateful towards God and the belief in God, even though they don't believe.![]()
Well, Christianity is a belief in God, so if you hate Christianity you hate the belief in God? Perhaps a quote at the beginning of this thread is more directed toward Christianity such as this:
However, if a statement such as this (I underlined for emphasis) isn't hatred toward God, I don't know what is:
Ask Gnostic Bishop if he hates God as portrayed in Christianity, he will admit it.
Well, it was off the back of GB talking about hating God in Christianity, so it wasn't totally out of context.
I didn't say anyone hates me. Though, a few others and I have been personally singled out and slandered as "immoral, illogical, foolish and stupid" people by Gnostic Bishop. I take no offense though, that's his problem if he thinks that way.
Gnostic Bishop has started 11 of the 40 threads (over 25% ), on the first page of P&S, more than anyone else, and they are mostly geared toward his resentment towards Christianity. Half of his posts contain the same copy and pasted text, and same youtube videos on multiple threads, from some website he's probably getting fed from. He's starting to sound like a broken record. Someone else put it well, "we get it dude, you hate Christianity."![]()
Well, Christianity is a belief in God, so if you hate Christianity you hate the belief in God?
Well more accurately, Christianity is one form of belief in god. Many of the world's religions center around a belief in god, so to hate Christianity does not necessary equate to hating god.
