I agree with what everyone said. The next time you use make be careful because if the quality goes up one of you will OD.

Notice how I said "the next time" unless you actively try to stop now there's going to be one. If you are committed you will have to tell your girl no or vise versa. One of you will want to go again.

You still didn't say your general location, just that it's powder, so there's no way to tell exactly what kind of heroin it is and if you're using it correctly, but someone
who is taking risks like you are shouldn't be using ANY drug, let alone potentially deadly ones. Stick with cannabis or nothing!

Also, you need to KNOW these type of thing before you use, not after! If you want to live, and want your girl to live as well that is.

Lucky. Very lucky. Xanax and IV dope is a terrible idea. And by terrible, I mean deadly, especially with no opiate tolerance.

I was thinking exactly this.
Heroin isn't like experimenting with LSD or taking your mom's psych meds. Everyone who has a love/hate relationship with it will tell you to never touch it again. All I will say is that if you do, do your homework first. You can probably learn everything there is to know about how to IV heroin as safely as possible right here on BL. The whole point here is harm reduction. I think there are even threads that will give you step by step instructions on how to do it safely, and another on all the possible drug combinations and their effects. Trial and error with this stuff doesn't mean a bad trip, it means you die. So use the search window and read the directions first this time.

This sums exactly what I was thinking. You've done in a few days what it took me years to do. I said I'd never touch a needle, but after a failed attempt of getting off it a couple years later I was put on Methadone, so when I relapsed my tolerance was that much higher, so smoking no longer worked I moved to IV just in an attempt to still get high. I thought that was bad enough, but it pails in comparison to how quickly you're morals changed. Hopefully you've seen what you're letting yourself in for and will give it up as quickly as you seem to of got into it.
