Heroin Heroin vs morphine

However, I dunno how you can talk opiates with out eventually getting dependent. I would not just be able to take it on the weekends. The word addicted blows. If they just sold what ever you wanted at a store legally and end this prohibition bs most people would be able to live their lives as dependents no problem. You gotta know your limits though or OD will get you. besides what ever stuff you want to put into your body is your business wtf land of the free..........

All I gotta say is Wowsers I dont know what your talkin about stay on the warmth wave son lol
Silk road. Just checked the blua, it's not sourcing unless i try to sell here.

I know, but i have to stick to it. I've been addicted to morphine before, and it caused a huge amount of stress that I don't need right now.

Morphine is well known for it's smack you in the face, pins and needles rush that hits fast and hard.Heroin,on the other hand, comes on more slowly in waves. Both are powerful opiates with excellent pain relieving and anti-anxiety effects.

however, heroin and morphine are not the same thing, and IV morphine is known to hit you in the face as soon as you do it/give you that locking up the chest/body with a rush feeling that you don't so much get with smack.

Pretty much this. I was in the hospital after a bad accident 2011. They let me pick my pain medication. I went through all of it, from fentanyl, hydromorphone, etc.. I ended up sticking with IV morphine. I liked it the most and still do. Just my preference. RIP dilaudid.

I don't believe that at all. At my worst, I was going through 3 buns per day. That's $240 per day where I'm from. $200 if he decided to be nice and cut me a bulk deal. Now say the US legalized dope and decided to sell it for half street value at $100. that's still $100 I need, and would still be stealing, hustling, and robbing mofo's to get that money. That's the problem with so many people that want it "legal", dope will never be a benefit to society. all the $100 for 3 buns would do is make me do more, raise my tolerance and need 3 times that much, so I'm spending what I used to again.

I don't believe dope should be legal, or any opiate, because it ruins lives, makes you sick when you run out, and makes me do horrible things in order to get that fix. If I could go back in time 10 years, I would never have taken my first opiate. Legal dope would do nothing but get people who would have never tried the drug in the first place curious enough to try. You're being very selfish, wanting it to be legal for your own damn self, not thinking of all the other people who's lives it would ruin. And you'd still be spending every cent you had on it.

I get the feeling you're an upper middle class white boy who still lives with mom in his mid twenties, and dont have to worry about addiction, or homelessness, or any of the things that most of us dope fiends have been through.

I don't normally like being on the fence, but I can only see both sides here. True, it shouldn't be big brother's job to stomp on us for altering our own consciousness. There are many drugs that aren't very addictive at all, and you can still get high or trip every weekend or so and not think twice about it. However narcs, and most stimulants, do not fit in this category. They will slowly take up more and more of your mind until it's not your choice anymore, you have to fix or die. Unless you're a person with very strong willpower, it will happen sooner rather than later.

I'm trying to convince myself I'm one of those people. Eventually it will get me, and I know that. Whether it's months, years, or decades. I'll get addicted, and eventually become sick of it. Then I'll detox again, say I'm never going back, and end up with a rig and a bag half a year later. Every goddamn time. But what can I do? What can any of us do?

Or maybe I'll be one of the lucky few that can stay a chipper. I hope so.

Not everyone is an out of control addict like yourself......

Alcohol is legal & yet some people tend to get smashed drunk every day & don't have any control over their drinking habits.

While others can drink only during the holidays & that's it.

Same goes for opiates IMO......there's people that have been taking opiates at small amounts for over 10 years & do it 3 or 4 times a month or 3 or 4 times a year......these ate the people that have self control, it can be done.

I believe Portugal has legalized all drugs & crime rate has gone down.......

Opiates are very addictive, I'm not down playing them but just because you or others don't have control over their intake of opiates, doesn't mean others ate suffering the same demise.

There are a ton of alcoholic homeless people that had their lives ruined by alcohol none the less.

Cigarettes are harder to quit than coke/opiates, its been scientifically proven.

If drugs were legal, instead of spending three hundred on whatever, you would spend seventy five & have plenty of your paycheck left, that's the self control......why do you have to go hog wild & still spend three hundred & get your tolerance tripled......the opiate game is about keeping yourself in check & your tolerance as low as possible.

Me being a pain patient is about keeping my pain away......I don't care about getting high.

4 years later & I'm still able to take 20mgs of hydrocodone & take away my pain, I catch a very light buzz but don't get high anymore but its not about getting high for me, its about pain relief.

For most people, they love the high & I understand this but if you don't have control over your intake, opiates will burn you.

Legalize heroin! OP if you prefer morphine to heroin but only have access to heroin, you can just leave your heroin in water and it will go through hydrolysis and revert to morphine.

this is such a tough one, but I have to agree with the above quote...I burned through $5000/wk at the height of my addiction (speedballs mostly...3+ grams of the best LA tar I could find a day, equal amounts coke plus a shit ton of pharms)...while some people may never get addicted, those that do would have very little chance at recovery with a fully open dope market.

perhaps there is a happy medium whereby we follow the UK plan and give junkies an allowance (that's what it seems like to me)...take it off of the streets and make it easy, quick and clean to use.

for the record; I made all my own money, and lost it all (millions) and ended up on the streets of LA...

the OP of this thread was shooting roughly 1/3 of a 10th of a gram of street dope THAT'S why the experience sucked...lol...

sorry this is a disjointed and short post, but the topic was derailed and I really just wanted to comment on the OP's original experience ;)
