i have tried it once. i might be one of the few people on earth who was midly dissapointed by dope. before i had done a messload of other opiates but in my ind i imagine dheroin being like 100 times better than any of them. the dope in ym town is high quality and i bought a .2 bag and did it all over the course of few hours. it was a great opite dont get me wrong but i ahevnt gone back to it because of cost. i dont regret it at all.

I suppose I should clarify my poll response. I regret that I tried it THE FIRST TIME. I was an addict for ten years and it destroyed my life at the time. If I didn't have that experience though, I wouldn't have the beautiful life I do today. I have made peace with what I did while on dope, but it took a long time to get there. I don't recommend doing it, but it is one way to try things. Just remember, every future junkie thinks they are smart enough to figure out how to not get addicted.

By the way, sixpartseven, awesome name. Polyvinyl influence?

Well, actually I kinda-tried it once - some guy I met in a pub invited me out the back to smoke a joint with him - it was already rolled and in his pocket. When I took a toke, I noticed it smelled and tasted unusual and didn't smell like marijuana in the least. When I asked him what was in it, he replied 'brown', so I declined to smoke any more. I had only taken a small exploratory toke as a lot of people in the UK mix in way more tobacco with their cannabis than my lungs can stand, so I didn't inhale enough to feel any effects (I sound like Clinton, haha).

That's a very wasteful way to use smack.

i loved it every time ive done it. dont regret it at all. I cant bring myself to drive into the hood looking for it, theres mostly crack around down there.

i have done it MAYBE 10 times over a two year period. and there has been times where its been around constantly.

so no, i dont regret it because im not hooked. and what other reason would there be to regret it?

I'm still un-decided, only started taking heroin about 5 months ago and thought it was amazing, and at the start managed to keep my useage to about once a month, but then I started taking daily for about 2/3 weeks, and stopped and went through some minor WD's, and ever since that i've had constant cravings for more, which wasn't the case when i'd been taking monthly, and it's been like that for 3 weeks now, which is annoying to say the least... so like I said un-decided.

Shot it, loved it, got hooked on it, blew every cent on it. Stopped. But no regrets... other than my Pavlovian reaction to see a spike filled with the stuff nowadays. If I didn't have my phriendly pharms, it would be damn hard to curb the urge to go back.

I smoke n snort it (powder) and regret some aspects.. The creeping addiction for one, the money that I spend for another.
But it makes me feel normal. Depression lifted, anxiety evaporated, pain dulled massively.
It's the one thing that's getting me through life at the moment (feels like a stupid excuse but it's true).
I'm fairly certain, even at this early period, that I'll end up on replacement therapy. But I just really don't care... **slaps self** :| I'm foolish..

Unless it completely ruined your life, I can't see how you could regret it. Even if it came close to ruining your life, hopefully you learned something, and are a better person now...

Thanks for all answers you left, I think they've cleared a bit my view at this thing :)
And no, I don't really mind change of the name of the topic
mind-tools, pzdr

A very dear friend tried it for the first time last summer and now barely ever comes out and sees us or picks up his phone or answers the door if we call. On the few occasions we do see him he's withdrawn, and he's lost a lot of weight. We are worried to hell about him but we have to let it go and just hope he'll be OK one way or another because what else can you do?

At the time he first tried it we had this dealer who kept offering it to all of us. I can't say I didn't consider it seriously. I probably would have done it if I hadn't been studying for important exams at the time.

The sensible part of me is glad I've never touched opiates. There's another, much smaller, part of me that is attracted to all this 'warm fuzzy blanket' talk; and that half-wishes that it was just me and my friend and our druggy secret against the world again, like it used to be when we started drinking/smoking weed/doing ketamine/doing MDMA together. :\ dunno, hopefully the sensible side will always win.

Tried it once, liked it alot, but never went back because of the risk of STDs, being arrested scoring, the stigma if my family found out, etc. Besides I prefer the much safer and cleaner pharmies anyway.

I said indifferent but now that I think about it a little more I am glad I did it. Got to try one of the 'biggest baddest' drugs out there and satisfied my curiosity. Thats all I was intending anyway.

To start this off I have been using opiates since I was 11 years old. The first time I was given opiates it was a bottle of tylenol 3's ( codeine and apap ) and a shot of an unknown substance that was given to me for a broken fibula and tiblula . It was a soccer accident in which I was side swiped during the game. The bones broke the skin and it was extremely painful. Even at that young age I looked forward to my mother giving me my medication. I love how it took me out of my lonely times and made me bright. I really missed my friends at school alot but I was so happy playing sonic the hedgehog in my warm fuzzy blanket. I never ate opiates again after that injury until I was about 13 years old . It started with me eating a couple of perc's or some vic's during a party or what not to catch that extra buzz. I liked it alot but it was only a once and a time thing for me for years. When I was 16 I tried Oxy Contin for the first time and I was in love . It made me feel so at ease with myself , I could talk to girls that normally would make me feel anxious because they were so beautiful. It gave me the confidence I always needed all these years to really break out of my shell and get a taste of this beautiful world.

A few years later when I was seventeen my sister was dating this older guy , he was about 23 years old at the time and i was 17. I sold him shrooms a few times and we smoked pot together alot and what not at party's. One day he calls me up around noon and tells me he really needs a ride and that he will make it worth my while. I pick him up at his apartment and he brings me to meet his man in the hood. He jumped out of the car and got a sandwhich with him in some local deli. As we drove back I asked him what was up , whatcha Get , I was anxious as hell I was down for anything back than. He didn't say anything , he told me to chill and wait till we got back home. When we got back to his house he pulled out a 1 inch stack of glasine paper baggies that where labeled fleetwood mac. It was a bundle of some of the finest heroin to ever hit the jersey shore. I snorted a line that he broke out for me and fell back into a world of pureness , a world without pain , a fluffy powder had shown me a way to feel at peace and whole , within seconds of introducing her to my body I knew what I was searching for all these years. I am 23 years old now and I have been casually and habitually using heroin since that first day I met her.

I have seen alot of amazing things and have been with some very special people because of this drug . During the same times I lived on top of this world it made me incredibly sick and desperate when i was without. I was risking my freedom on a daily basis transporting large amounts of the crap to support me and my loved ones addiction. I would never tell a person not to use opiates because they have given me things that I could never replace. I just want you to be careful and only dance with them once and a time. Im high right now on Morphine , Amphetamine , Alcohol and cannabis but I wont be using the opiates or uppers again for a few weeks. Ill probably take some L or shroom out a couple of days from now but I try my best not to get a tolerance to any individual substance. Opiates are AMAZING but moderation is a key fact of life . I hope you enjoy this story of my opiate experiences. This is just a cliff notes , If anyone would like to talk about there struggles or mine PM me. I'm here to help all of my brothers and sisters of Bluelight. Just talk to me and I will help you the best I can I'm told that Im a very nice man ;)

^^good story man. like you said, moderation is key. too bad that goes out the window w/ a lot of people when opiates, esp. strong ones like H, are involved.
