Heroin heroin that gells up

so i just got this stuff, it's tan east coast powder and when i mix it with water it sort of gells up, kind of like a pill would but not quite as bad. It turns brown, and i was expecting it to be good judging by the color, but it wasn't. I can suck it up with a needle, but i can't filter it through a cotton. I tried cooking it and then i was able to get it through the cotton but it took a while, it didn't just suck it right up. Also there was some weird sticky stuff left in the spoon.

Does anyone have any idea what this is, and what are the chances that doing another bun will kill me. (I'm still alive after shooting it yesterday)
 
^^the buzz was pretty shitty/ non existant but i no there was something in there though cuz it did stop me from being sick. I also didn't really do that much
 
Never happened with heroin, but it's happened with coke I've mixed up a few times

I can only imagine it's the cut, as both substances are highly water soluble. I'd avoid that shit, it's probably mostly cut and little heroin
 
I wouldnt shoot it but if I was sick and had no other options I would let it sit in water for like half an hour then draw up the water without adding heat this will get most of the heroin out and hopefully leave most of the nastynesss in the spoon.
 
^Definitely try that. Hopefully if you let it sit for an extended period of time the cut will settle at the bottom and it'll be easier to filter. If not, there's not much else to do. Heating it will just make the liquid less dense and easier to filter through the cotton, but it will also dissolve any nasty cut into the water and then you'll be putting that in your veins. Although I know when I had a habit, I wouldn't cared what the fuck was in it. If I spent good money on it, I was doing it, so I know how that can be. It's tough to choose your health and safety over not being sick....
 
Wouldn't make sense for someone to use the new OCs in them would it?
Could be the cut, some sort of glucose, sucrose, or Maltodextrin
 
I have purchased heroin exactly like the type you described. It sort of "gelled-up" when I squirted the water on it, and it took quite a while to suck up through the needle for some reason(im guessing because it was half gel/goop). Im not sure exactly what they cut it with, but basically you bought extremely cut heroin that just happens to be cut with some substance that doesnt allow you to IV safely/easily at all.

I HIGHLY reccomend you do not inject anymore of that drug. It very well could clog a vein, or do some sort of damage inside your body. Its not worth the risk. If you must do it, then snort it please....that is much safer. I was smart enough to NOT inject that heroin I got that was like yours. Unfortunately my friend was too sick too stop so he went ahead and injected it and ended up with a swollen arm/shoulder.......this was about ayear ago....anf my friend still feels pain from the incidient today.

Maybe you could resell the rest of the dope and try to go buy some good stuff. Please be safe.
 
thats just what I was going to say .Thay cant give the new op away so thay grined them up and put a littel into each bag to get rid of them
 
I doubt people are "grinding up" the OP's and putting them in bags of heroin. Heroin is usually a very fine powder(in fact the original poster stated he/she purchased a powder form of heroin) and there is still no known way to "grind" an OP pill into a fine powder. You can make it into smaller "scraped"/"shredded" pieces, but its not even close to powder and would stand out big time,
 
i don't think it was ground up pills. Also, the only way i could feel any effect was if i cooked it. The veins i used look okay, they havent dissapeared or anything, and my arm isn't getting swollen. i no i really shouldn't do the rest, but i don't have much of a choice.

You DO have a choice. You may not have the ability to make the correct choice, but you DO have a choice.

the fact that you could ONLY feel ANYTHING from this "drug" is by injecting it tells me that it probably doesnt contain very much "drug" at all....its probably just a mix of random materials and MAYBE a TINY amount of heroin, or for all we know its crush ep vicodin....who knows.

I bet that since you didnt get high but it "kept you from being sick" was a Placebo effect more than anyhting.

no there's deffinatly some dope in it, just not very much. And i know it's very bad for me and i don't have to do it and blah blah blah but i'm going to anyway because i'm a junkie and this is what we do.

I just wanted to know if anyone ever had this happen before or could tell me anything usefull because that"it's mostly cut, it's not good for you" is pretty obvious.

Other than "its mostly cut and not good for you" there is nothign else usefull to say. what do you expect? ive had the exact same experience as you several times and it all came down to the fact that the dope was bad, and not safe to IV. simple as that. Theres no secret way to IV unsafe dope that were hiding from you. Its not safe to shoot, so when you post on BL asking about this dope, what do you expect people to say(in the interest of reducing harm) other than its not safe to shoot? In fact, that is what almost EVERY other poster who posted in this thread had to say...."dont shoot it again".

i guess we could tell you to use a micron filter, but that bad dope would probably clog it up and not be able to get any solution through.

Depending on what the cut(s) is(are)....that could be dangerous as well.....but I agree that it is more than likely(definitely) less dangerous than IV'ing it. I would sleep better knowing the OP wasnt injecting that shit.
