Yea it basically right below the crook to the left side of my right arm. Every time I tried to hit that spot, I got a good register and then as soon as I pushed down I felt the heat down my arm and through my hand and my arm went balloon mode on me for a while. Is 'near the elbow' above or below? If you're shooting right in the crook of your arm or a little below, the cubital vein is on average only 3.5 mm away from the brachial artery , and next to no distance from the median nerve. If you go in right above on your upper arm, the cephalic vein lies pretty much on top of the brachial artery.
