Heroin Stories

I am writing some short stories about people using various drugs, one of which is heroin. I have used heroin myself once, but I never injected it and it was several years ago.....I tend to be more of a uppers kind of person, that and i'm a daily weed smoker. Anyway, I'm writing this short story about two junkies and I was wondering if anyone had any stories or info to help me.....

Like how long after you shoot up before you need another fix? How much does a normal junkie do? Where do they typically get high? What do they do while high? Stuff like that.

This isn't a negative or anti-heroin story by the way. I just want my characters to be believable junkies.

Look into the drug culture forum. There are tons of stories about how much people use, crazy stories about use, getting ripped off, shadiest places you've done drugs etc. Go into the drug culture thread, and look around. You can search for the threads that I listed above.

Also if you search the Stamp Thread, it had people listing their tolerance, and amount of bags per shot. The thread was closed, but you can still search through them.

I would give you personal info, but the threads will give you a wider view of heroin use.
