Are you still waiting Endless? He is really taking the piss at this stage! I have to stay clean now for the next week coz i'm back in the clinic next Friday, dreading staying clean over the new years eve/day. But i gave in a few positive tests for opiates before xmas so i have to behave myself if i wanna keep my take away! Its such a pain in the arse! :(
 
Unfortunately so miss, chain smoking here to beat the band. Technically I've been waiting since Monday. I expect he'll show up shortly - hopefully he tosses me a few like he sometimes does as I dont fancy doing this all over again tomorrow.

Edit: Sorted. 4 and a half hours later - but it was worth it for three in the hand until monday, fair fucks to him anyway. Valium tomorrow too, havent had them for months - a nice treat to bring in the new year...and what a glorious 2012 it will be too.

dealers really take the piss wit the amount of time they keep us waiting - i have a 1 maybe 2 hour max limit + then i score off someone else - dealers know this about me so they normally either meet me quick or they are straight wit me + let me know if they will be longer - but tat was in the good old days before the drought wen there was no shortage of good b + dealers on every street corner - now the dealer hold all the cards [ha see wat i done there] with more then 90 % of the b been pure shite + less the 10 % been ok - the dealers wit the ok b know you wil wait for tem - bastards - i wil get tem all back 1 by 1 when tis drought ends - i will arrange to meet tem + i will leave them standing there like a cunt the way they leave me standing around - but will the drought end any time soon - the b is still bad - its 1/4 of the strengt tat it was befor the drought - there are 2 typs of b - the b that looks proper + the b wit the dull film on top wen it sets frosty b - they are both the same strengt + tats bout 1/4 of wat it should be

i rem scoreing in dublin befor mobile phones were around - in some ways it was better - u knew at sertin times on sertin days the dealers would be on a sertin street - he do his buisness quickly + they tell you what street to meet on the next day - it worked like clockwork but if there was a rat around the dealer could be easily lifted - also many dealers used to let you call to there gaf once they trusted you - so you would knock up to them + get sorted straight away - mobile phones are ruined that - now you get text messeges saying tey be there in 10 mins - an hour later your still standing there freezing your bollox off - because they have you at the end of a phone they can keep promising you + keep you hanging on - it was much better with out mobiles
 
wowzers!!! this is my first post on bl!!! :) hi all! i feel like i know everyone already! i often have a read through all your posts and my friend is a member of bl already so im kept up to date with all the scandal even when i cant get to a computer myself!! :) so i thought it was time to join in a bit! i dont have my own laptop so i probably wont be a regular visitor, but i will pop in as often as i can! ie. when i can hog someones laptop! :)

I live in South dublin city center, and i am a 36 year old female, i have been a heroin user for way too long so i think i might have a bit in common with many of yous! ;) the drought is still bad bad bad in dublin, basically i have the same problems as everyone else, the heroin here is weak, im having a smoke here with my pal 2nite and our B LOOKS really nice but im not getting a nod or any kind of buzz, not unless you use large amounts, its crazy!

@ gizmo! alrite flower! what is this B with the dull film like? is it the stuff that went around before the drought from time to time? has it a strong nasty taste? real dirty on the foil and yeah leaves a dull frosty film on the puddle when it cools down? That was always considered bad brown before the drought, but i would be thrilled to get me hands on a bit of that now! It would be like a little piece of heaven compared to this crap that has no taste at all! this drought is such a bummer, its really getting me down. :(

so nice to post on bl at long last! bl is a great site, one of the best ones! the other drug forums are full of uptight people who think their experts on everything! this forum seems full of real people with real lives! im so excited to join at last!!! <3 and im so glad we dont have to call ourselves swim!!! i talk way to much when i meet people so god knows what i would be like if i get going on here!!! i asked santa for a laptop this year but he couldnt fit it down the chimney-pot :( maybe i can get one for my birthday which is soon! i also asked him to pop by afghanistan to get some nice b but he got hassled in customs! ah santa your useless!!!

i am really looking forward to chatting to you all! lets hope this awful heroin shortage is sorted out soon! cant believe i had another christmas with out a proper nod! :(

@Endless... glad you got sorted at last, at least your stocked up for a few days now! I got a bit myself to-night, so much for me not using, but a friend came to visit, so we decided to have a smoke! I didn't wanna wait around so i scored over the south side, same gear but MUCH smaller deals! Miserable git selling such small deals! Ah well! another day another crap bag of gear!
 
I am expecting to receieve some H soon that I have been told is 'quite good' but being a street drug who knows. As this is my second time using Heroin ( other than oxys,pinks,pods,mscontin) and I plan to smoke and actually get high this time. I was wondering if there were any tips or tricks of the trade from seasoned heroin smokers out there. Also is rectal admin viable? As
far as I am aware smoking is best in terms of safety.

yep,you can put it up your ass-i hear it's pretty good,but not for me
my serious advice to you,if you want to get high,would be to wait
the gear is generally utter crap atm,as you can hear from the posts here
then your location says 'Eurpoe',so maybe you are not in the UK and can get good
In which case I would say to smoke
the only better high IMO is to IV and I def wouldn't advise anyone to go down that route
 
Alot of talk about tapering on here - its actually very easy if you dont have a methadone habit - i.e. you dont use it daily. You can do a 2 week detox tapering down to 1ml - its not that complicated if anyonw wants to know pm me.
 
Blondin, that may be a good resource to have available to all if you don't mind posting it?
 
Agreed. Do please post it mate, I'll be buying some methadone in the new year myself to taper off so I can get my act together and get a job and it would be great to know what method you used. I'd try ructions method but its not specific enough I'm afraid.

tapering some people find it easy..... like me.

and some people find it hard. but not dropping to much is the key! plus it aint a fucking race.

Time for me too fucking step up. After one last hit when I get back my house.... Ha, god i'm gunna be homeless. Can't wait :(

Holy shit heroin is really kicking your arse.

I think you've got a few more bruises to gain on your posterior before you're ready to say goodbye to it, but I hope 2012 is the year it happens <3
 
...ok so this will only work if you are not taking methadone now (if you have a methadone addiction then it takes months for a painless withdrawl) so this is a 14 day detox as follows:day 1 60mg, day 2 55mg, day 3 50mg, day 4 45mg, day 5, 40mg, day 6,35mg, day7 30mg, day 8 25mg, day 9 20mg,day 10 15mg,day 11 10mg, day 12 6mg, day 13 3mg, day 14 1.5mg. Its not dificult and it may help if you have a couple of valium for the last couple of days. REmember that the 1/2 life of 'done is about 36h so after 3-4 days the level in your blood is more than the amount you are taking that day.

I have dont this detox 2-3 times and had noo problem with it - its almost painless and at worst you may be a little tired at the end and have some sleeplessness but as im sure you all know stopping isnt the problem ....staying stopped is.
 
It really fucking has, i've got a lifetime of shit in like 4 years and it's ruining me. Can barely hold back tears anymore, was gunna go score as soon as I got back my house but really don't think I want to now. Fucking hell :(

Don't hold the tears back. It's a fucking shit situation with a lot of pain and a lot of hurt, especially to your loved ones, and I bet that what hurts the most.
Welcome the pain & embrace the pain, don't be too quick to numb it out. It's what makes you human and not a zombie. Stay in touch with your feelings and face up to the shitness of your situation from time to time, it's not such a bad thing, it's what will help you leave it all behind when you're ready.

You sound like you need help - you don't need to try & do this on your own. Reach out when you're ready - help can come from the most unexpected places but sometimes you need to ask <3
