Heroin Social: Version 5

I seem to have become an occasional social heroin user, not regularly at all,. I'm going to try very hard not to let it become a habit. I visited a mate today who I hadn't seen for a few weeks. He got some to cheer himself up after a bad day and taught me how to smoke some out of a pipe instead of foil. It worked a lot better! The high doesn't last too long though, I felt awake and perfectly able to talk to people but could probably have nodded off sitting in a chair. My mate is responsible towards me even if not so much himself, he said he won't be letting me have any around him too often.

Been absent a long time. How are you my cousins across the pond doing? I just admitted to my psychiatrist I relapsed on sub so he Rx me some (I've cut down to 2 mg/ day). If you all think methadone is disappointing- Oh well, I'll try to get off- but it helps my depression so much. In other news P-som was talking about drinking- this is a hobby i have took up in earnest. My local bar doesn't have the typical CA surf/ beach crowd- alot of Marines- current and retired- vets of all American wars from Grenada, to Lebanon, mostly Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, WWII, and everything in between. Here some epic stories from the retired ones. Alot of the vietnam era and some vets of the recent wars that discharged have med MJ cards.

Didn't get any buds from them personally b/c I don't have a card- but dispensary buds and hash is of amazing quality I have found first hand over the last several months, even by California standards, the quality always exceptional has reached superior heights.

And in the last 2 weeks, the feds reneged on their promise and have so far closed 62% of their dispensaries in San Diego County and as of the week before Thanksgiving 90 of 400 dispensaries and the casulty count is growing. Ironically you can still have delivery services and grow your own (disconcertingly the local 5-O has callaborated with the feds in contravention of state law. In northern CA there is less cooperation with the feds. Oaksterdam still stands in Oakland, and San Francisco is slightly less tolerant.

As far as other drugs, markets don't seem to be effected.

Sounds like the drought is still going on in the UK and Eire. Fuckin-A.

One thing I learned from a discharged US Marine is that they are getting involved in the Poppy burning business. Before the UK forces took the leading role in the south. He discribed acres of Poppies and Cannabis being burned (and having grown up on a farm in Iowa, refreshingly identified with the farmers in Afghanistan.) This is a short sighted appraoch, its gonna send more people into the extremist groups like Taliban, ect... and get more NATO troops killed- a man whose family is dying from starvation has nothing to loose- plus its gonna protract this drought.

You are having general strikes today. We have the occupy wallstreet movement. Its time to occupy shakedownstreet. and bring down the Narco-industrial complex.

Good to see you back, jspun...there may be federal opposition but your medical marijuana dispensaries are way ahead of anything we have here. Don't the US have a 'hearts and minds' policy in Afghanistan? They may burn a poppy grower's livelihood but will throw him a few hundred bucks to grow bananas or similar nonsense. I was reading of $25 a week 'pensions' dished out to former fighters who swear off the Taliban - and they get to keep their guns! The words 'culture clash' spring to mind; they'll take the American's cash, but they surrender neither heart or minds. Yankee go home.

Just out of interest, jspun, would you say you were 'unhappy' or 'depressed'? Some discussion over here lately about the difference and whether people don't use the latter when they mean the former.

ooh right a thought u ment u or ur lawyer wouldnt be attending court a mustv read this post wrong....am feelin a bit rough cause av been usein for the last 3 days and this seems to happen to me now wen a use for a few days dont no wat this is all about its like my body reacts to the gear has any of u long term h users experienced this...any ideas on this av asked people but nobody seems to know why am feeling like this wen am usein

What I meant is that if I cannot get the case moved to my town,I will not get a fair trial because my lawyer and I will not be able to attend every hearing
I have got a letter from my consultant saying about having trouble with travelling and I want to apply to the court to get it moved
but I suspect my lawyer may be shit
he is not the one I asked for when I first contacted them,but thought he might be ok
he isn't so i need to get it changed and quick

Pipe vs. foil wins hands down, there's so much smoke you dont lose. I'm getting my own pipe now just for it. Had a mini hit of crack off the same pipe too, not my usual dabble but I'd give it another go.

I knew a fella who smoked his gear on a martell bottle/crack pipe and the amount of gear he went through was mental. He used to smoke a teenth in about 15 mins, he'd always give me a couple of pipes while I was round his scoring and the first time he offered me one, I thought it was crack.
He had abad arse chesty cough though , amost sounded bronchial, he died last year of cancer aged 55. RIP ,OL-BILL.

No mate it don't frazzle up it melts nice , you have to have a bit of gorse on it like you would a crack pipe, but like I say you get through quite a bit of gear with this method.
You get a right good lung full and it taste lovely. Might be agood roa for you Acidtek.

the hit is faster and more intense than foil, cus you can smoke it fast.... but more importantly you can get more in your lungs with each hit!

you aslo can scrap the pipe after gram of gear you begin to have some alrite hits. :D

Never known anyone to smoke it in a pipe till I came on here. I thought it was balls but seeing as the some of the peeps saying it have seemed pretty on the ball I wont dismiss it-how could I dismiss something I aint tried? As for the 'kennel cough', as its called round my way, dont u av a fuckin nasty, rechid chest strungout? Cos u smoke a fair bit of gear and the ciggies too? I've always had a bad chest, ever since I started smoking weed heavily. Had pneumonia once hospitalised two weeks, should never of gone back to smoking. Then taking up silver surfing too lol. Ive just had a nasty flu which most peeps might shake off in a week, but its taken me 6! 'Orrible. My dealers the same, or worse man he coughs like fuck. Its only wen Im ill it gets exaggerated. But I said b4 in a post, wen Ive been smokin H continuously for a month or more, I can see little bits of it in the stuff I cough up, rancid! 8(

Im from near Bath buddy, so yeah. What was ur school called? Apart from Bath I've lived in London for several years and have spent the last 2 years in Nottingham. Av lived in Finsbury park for several years and Elephant n Castle. Never been to ur neck of the woods, if its essex. Also lived in maidstone kent for a year, fuckin hated it, what a dead end place lacking anything remotely like a decent alternative scene (IME). You almost sounded sincere in ur last msg Blondin

Great to see you back jspun, and thats a fascinating story ructions.

I've started to become very obsessed with how sunken my cheeks have become, so I'm in the process of a kick here - have been since yesterday. I went a bit nuts with gear earlier on in the week and did just over .4 on Monday and then another .4 on Tuesday. I'm quite disappointed with myself - at one point I was just doing lines for the sake of doing lines just because I had so much smack on the tray...I wish I had some of that now. I had .2 left over yesterday and just gave it to a friend. It felt both great and shit at the same time.

Actually, the friend I gave the bag to is heading into rehab after christmas so I'd like to be 'clean' by the time he gets out - or at least back down to twice a week. I dont think cold turkey is the way to go; I did that during the drought (no choice, of course) but most of my time was still spent looking for it and I never really felt 'right' or 'well' even though I had a good 5 months of sobriety. Although I haven't had a smoke since Tuesday afternoon, I did take some codeine this evening so even though I may have gone cold turkey off heroin (so far), I haven't gone cold turkey off opiates.

Lets see how it goes tomorrow anyway. I don't want to go through another Christmas cold turkey so I think the best route would be to gradually reduce my use, and keep the remainder of these 30/500mgs codeine to cushion the fall for when I'm off the heroin.

Tell me something, if you can...is it the actual heroin itself that causes one to lose weight or is the weight loss a result of not eating as much as you would were you 'clean'? Also, is there much of a difference in .8 over two days as opposed to .8 over four? I dont think so, but then again I dont know so either.

To be honest mate my chest ain't to bad I don't smoke draw anymore, and I only smoke a couple of roll- ups at night when I'm having a toot. I hav'nt smoked in the day for about 10 years. Only thing I have noticed is I get a bit short of breath sometimes at work, so I think iv been very lucky up to now. I am quite fit though from being on the go 7 days aweek. I think the booze is fucking me up more than anything.

Anyway pap great news about the work , it couldnt have come at a better time mate . I'm made up for ya.

papaver what do you do im starting a new job on monday the work situation is shit but only had the last week and a half off so could be worse . i wish i had the drie to just get up and move some where else it is shite round here no gear , no work, i would love to move to east coast of usa it has always intrested me all the urbanness

Can only speculate but when I was a daily poppy tea drinker I lost shit loads of weight, I think maybe you forget about eating and that becomes your first priority. I know one thing I did was make sure I had enough money for poppies first before buying any food.

Nice on strungout cheers buddy. It had got pretty dire, sat at home pointlessly scrolling through job ads, unable to pay my half of the rent and regular arguments with the mrs over money-shite. Still Ive had some good time off the gear, I just hope now next time I get a chance to score I can get something good, cos as anyone whos on the green will know yourself included, bash is just no good to me whatsoever. Ive still got a lump of about 1g in my car stashed which Ive had for over 6 months, it was almost like pure mannitol. Cant bring myself to throw it away but I wont smoke it! And I wouldnt sell it to anyone either not a cunt.

Good for you fella. Im a hard landscaper (more of a builder really-brick walls, stonework, deckin, fencing, patios u name it). Having donr it for 8 years Im good at it, I love it and when Im in a situation to be a able to have a smoke before work, then one at the end of the day, and Im on a nice job its brilliant, happy days. This new job Ive been offered is for a wicked small firm-boss seems well sound and the labrador (labourer!) is 21 and was telling me he's turned his life round having been a dealer before in danger of getting into deep trouble (ketamine, coke, party drug dealer), though it'll be a long time before I trust him knowing what I do, tho he seems sound enough.

yeah builder mate i used to love getting in the porta loo and having a toot or in the back of van but them days are gone because good gear costs nearly a days wages for 2 so it is just a night time treat and that is only 3 times a week it is desperate i tell you.
that is funny there is a bloke round here that calls the labourer the labradour so i call him the poodle when im in charge on the brickwork, he said your the labrador when we are on the skimming, yeah i like my work but the pay is worse than it was even 2 years ago it seems like the building gone like the gear .

Here we go again, same situation different day . Not had gear now since about 1am Wednesday night, and had to hold myself on 40mg of meth that I took bout 6pm last night. Just starting to feel proper rough again now. Still got 60mg left, but just dragging out the doses for as long as possible really. Why are rattles almost too easy ?
