Heroin Social: Version 5

Scored once this week and it was still shite.Managed to get hold of some valium yesterday and have spent most of today in a daze or crashed out.
At least with the gear still being crap i can save most of my wages each week but where is the fun in that.
Nothing worse than having the money but having no drugs to spend it it on.
Looks like its gonna be another crap xmas this year,woe is me.

Are you sure the figure is not, when people attempt to quit opiates they will only have a 4% chance of getting clean that ONE TIME..... Hence why people take so many times to get clean?

I think thats what is meant. Not only 4% of heroin users EVER get clean.

Each time you try to get clean, your success rate is only 4%
 
Surely each time you try to quit you would have a 50/50 chance of succeeding. You either get clean or you don't.
Personally though I only know 3 people who have ever got clean and stayed clean.
 
I see were you coming from. But I think a drug center would take the number of people tried to get clean, the number who got clean EG

100 try 4 succeed = 4%
 
I genuinly believe that the only way anyone is going to get clean from any addiction, wether that be alcohol, sex, nicotine or in this case heroin etc, is to want to do it. I think that many people are forced into quitting heroin by their doctors / healthcare workers etc.

I think because of this fact the stats are lower, appearing to be very negative in respect of success rates because the people starting / being made t quit simply don't want to. I bet that if a new survey was done, this time a count of say 100 people, of addicts who a tally want to give up that the percentage of people who succeeded would be considerably higher than the. Urgent figures being discussed.
 
WCote - charges would only result if the pipe goes to the lab and traces of something were detected in it. The police are unlikely to go that far unless they really want you for something.

Charlie is right here if they found a any residue , you could face a charge of possesion, the fella I score off was charged with possession for 3 bits of dirty foil and sent back to jail, as he was still on licence.

You guys said that you wanted it by the rules so here I am, as requested.

It's simple, if you are commenting about quality of gear and where in the country it was obtained then it goes in the Regional Heroin Discussion.

Anything other than discussion about quality goes in the heroic social thread, things for example, like how good my dealer is at making bash, effectiveness of different lighters or foil.... You get the idea, basically anything heroin related that is not about quality and / or location goes in the social thread.

I'm posting it in both threads so there is no confusion.
 
the way i see it is anyone who is addicted to opiates can become clean its staying clean for a considerable amount of time for my own personal experience thats were i have failed not because of fear of rattle or becoming ill its that fucking horrible mental addiction to the substance its my worst nightmare
 
Reckoned I'd move this from the Regional Thread; after a little deliberation, it seemed more suited here considering its of no veritable value in terms of enlightening one as to the general gear situation over here. I know theres still minimal value, but its mainly banter.

That'll be interesting. You've had this type recently enough, yeah? Because it seems that batches of decent gear are occurring very randomly; sporadic in timing with no noticeable pattern and only in major cities across the UK (as for Ireland, just Dublin it seems)...who'd have thought this would last this long?

With what I'm scoring presently, I've grown so accustomed to using that I'm complacent in sticking with it as long as its there (and I don't over do it, which I have this week already) but because it doesnt bear the glory of pre-drought product I'm finding myself drinking more often these days. I wont drink without a bag, but the combination of drink and the bag gives me almost (*almost*) the same effect I would have had from a bag of pre-drought without any alcohol - but that costs me between 30 and 35 euro a go...I can really only afford it three nights a week max. I suppose I should be happy with that, but fuck it - I am in me arse like.

Yet despite its blatant depreciation in quality, that old familiar hold is still as firm as ever. Have to lay low in my indulgences for a couple of days now...smoked four bags since Monday...it has to stop, and now. Fuck it, I'll ease the way down with a CWE as soon as needed and then another over the weekend.

This "4%" figure came to prominence when was it used by opponents of a treatment prescription programme to support their argument drug users were being 'parked' on methadone. It refers only to users in treatment and was hotly disputed even within that restricted frame of reference. Most statistics bandied about by 'abstinence' ( euphemised as 'recovery' ) advocates are highly suspect and should be treated with the utmost caution.

Like Strungout says, WCote, you could be charged with possession of any residue in your pipe that can be quantified, e.g. 0.01 grams of controlled substance x. Social policing means they rarely bother unless the police force/CPS has it in for you sufficiently to risk a 'wasting taxpayers money' rebuke from the judge,
 
I got charged for posession of heroin when police found an empty wrap and used foils on me. They tested the wrap which sure enough came back positive and despite my duty solicitors best attempts the charge stuck

Oh yeah China , ithink the best lighter for smoking Gear is The Adjustable Bic Disposable , not the normal one.
They are hard to find here the adjustable ones , thats why i always grab a few when i'm in Spain /Portugal
It might not be perfect , don't know if their is one but the best imo.

And the story in full, these guys had 12kg of UNCUT heroin. Pretty big time family operation, doesnt seem they were too good at covering there bases though. If ur a dealer there's measures you can take to avoid getting nicked, for example dont have multiple flash cars on your driveway and own a house wen ur only form of income is supposedly incapacity benefit!

Cuck away adjustables are the best lighters ,clippers just cane your thumb and when there full the flame's to big. Tesco wrapping foil is the best IMO.
The other thing I'm very funny about is my tube , I don't like anybody touching It, you can have whatever you want , but don't fucking touch my tube. I like to keep them till they get blocked , I smoked a tube yesterday that was about 5 days old , couldn't finish it last night still got some left. My mrs thinks I'm crackerjack.
 
Personally I like the popell refillable adjustable elctronic lighters, though they vary as to how long they last, and the rubber seal where u refill it goes sometimes. Used to like the ronson electric lighter with the sliding ignition, but workin as a builder, if the slightest bit of dust or grit gets into them they're fucked. If they made adjustable clippers that didnt soot up to fuck, theyd be brilliant. People always ask why I have about 15 lighters in my car, but the popells are quite thirsty on the gas and if I dont have a can of gas I usually buy a new lighter, gas can be hard to find nowadays, not to mention the fact there always seems to be at least one lighter hiding under me seat, so I end with a shit load.
