Smackcraft, experation dates are overstated by drug companies to sell more drugs. I've taken dexedrine that was 20 years old that did the job just fine (actually dex/ meprobamate formulation). When I was on juice I would have a strategic stockpile of liquid methadone diluted with water- I would freeze it and thaw in the fridge (its stability would probaly be better if it was diluted with deionized H20.
Charlie Clean- Thanks my brother, Always like your post too. They televise pety little busts over here too for the media but I think shows like intervention and relapse are putting a human face on addiction. Having said that, regarding cannabis in particular varies from de facto legality in CA, Colorado, Oregon, Hawaii. In Oklahoma they are introducing or have passed legislation instituting a life sentence for people making hash. In Illinois, Chicago probably being the heroin capital of the USA, you can get thrown in jail for possession of weed. In CA, without a Rx were its grey area legal, the max penalty was lowered from a misdeamenor this year to an infraction (like a traffick ticket) not that the law was strict before. It was legal in Alaska 1975-1990.
At any rate have to admit I'm looking forward to watching the royal wedding.
But I got to wonder what % are the UK tax payers paying for this. I know the royal family have lots of assets in terms of land and other investments. The Queen is worth $500 million whatever that translates in pounds with the recent devaluation of the dollar. They were saying the price tag is going to be much less- less extravagant than 81'- but security is the major cost- born by British tax payers.
Does the Queen get an income from taxation of the people of the UK?. How about other commonwealth countries like Australia and Canada, do they chip in too?
They had a segment on the Cornish and how in addition to revival of the Celtic language and how they don't identify with the Monarchy or any vestige of Anglo Saxon rule- there was an air of defiance. I'm sure they aren't fond on the whole of their Dutchess Camilla.
At any rate, wonder how many guests are going to be high on gear.
I know William is more conservative than his brother Harry but I saw a tabloid in the course of the extensive coverage that he admited to smoking weed and his father ordered him into a heroin rehab center. Wonder if he used any illicit drugs, even just E and coke, he seems like the type. Wonder if William has some skeletons in his closet- maybe enjoying mephedrone with Kate when it was still legal. Are their rummors about drug use in either of the princes or other younger family members. I think the Queen, Charles, and Camille, need drugs (maybe they are on Rx opiates- they look perpetually constipated). But what do we know about aledged or real drug use by Kate, William, and Harry.
The Funny thing is, if it was true that Prince Harry smoked pot, how could he serve as an officer as an officer in the British Army. Don't know about UK law, but prior use would be grounds for dishonorable discharge for an officer or invalidation from being commissioned if it was tried before the officer was commisioned.
They discussed the proper way to greet the Queen by bowing ones head and courtseying if you are a women which non subjects are not obligated to do. At any rate I was never a fan of W's policies but I got to say I loved it when in true Bush II style he neither bowed nor shook her hand- rather he greated the Queen by winking at her.
The rummors are that they are going to Honeymoon in Mustique. They should consider the Big Island of Hawaii. The deposed queen of Hawaii ceded land to the Queen (I think it might have been Victoria), which is still sovereign British territory where a monument to captain Cook was built in the bay were he was killed by the natives when they realized he wasn't a God a century or so before. Under US law, contracts that were made under British law before independence binding under US law post 1776. Applying the same criteria, the Crown owns a pice of the UK in paradise. Its small- enough land to build a secluded beach bungalow.
Wouldn't be suprised if Queen Victoria was high on all kinds of opiates and other good drugs available to people during that Golden age.
Good luck with work PP. Enjoy your day off those of you brits who don't have to work tommorow (or today your time).
