Heroin sickness flashbacks

I have been off heroin for about four years now but back when I was using whenever I was unable to fix I would go through withdrawls as any addict does. One of the worst symptons of withdrawing (for me anyway's) was the involuntary convulsions that would cause my whole body to shake uncontrollably. they were absolute agony that would never end till my next fix.
now here's my question. Even though I havent used in years sometimes late at night when i'm in my bed these "shakes" will come back to me. not as severe as they were when I was using but still it's definitely the same sympton. I don't know if it's just psychological or what. Does this happen to anyone else?

psychological i guess. i happened to me after like 2 months not using but probabily after 4 years its different.
it happened to me especially when i was thinking about some of my problems and then heroin and those thoughts combined produce some shaking and aching for H

I doubt it's related to the heroin... I know EXACTLY what you'[re talking about and the same thing happends to me from time to time... I don't have an explaination for it but I dont think it's related to the narcotics at all - I had the same "pseudo-convulsionz" with ketamine withdrawal and that was before I had EVER used more then a couple hydrocodone (let alone heroin)...
