Heroin Question

Ok, I know this is probably a stupid question, but I've never used heroin and I don't plan to any time in the near future so I'm not sure... I do know a lot about the drug but I wanted to know how long the average high lasts (when injected). Again, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. :)

Aja900- what do you mean no?
Its not like I made up a random stab in the dark number, thats how long I can feel the effects of herion.It's not that great euphoric feeling the whole time, but sometimes I can be nodding in the 6th hour. Of course sometimes I get that rush of energy then half an hour later and am wondering where my high went, that sucks.
Someone back me up on this.
 
I'm with you, about 6 hours for me. I can typically nod through most of this time, though it becomes difficult near the end. Usually the next day I will still feel a slight buzz.
The first time I IV'd, the high was still significant ~18 hours later -- perhaps equivalent to 15-20mg oxycodone.
 
Around 6-8 hours, with a slight body buzz the next day.
Days away I, still feel you, touching me, changing me.

Well, I consume a pretty damn low amount of opiates on average, that's probably most of it. I'd guess the high's length decreases pretty quickly when you start regular use.
 
it really depends on your tolerance.
As your body gets adjusted to the constant input of opiates the receptors multiply making their metabolism faster.... therefore the high does last less.
 
I may not be all that "high" after 8 hours, but I am definitely not straight and I'm and definitely not down. If the drug still gives me the feeling of putting my head down, I consider that fucked up.
