heroin on a full stomach

A friend recently said that it is not a good idea to eat too much before using heroin, as it would diminish the effect. Is this true? I don't understand why that would be the case.

It doesnt really matter much even if you snort it, I assume your not eating it..

Besides even if some does go in your stomach it all gets digested, people make too big of a deal over having a full stomach.

Of course though makes no difference when you're snorting or pumping it directly into a vein.

Oh i know that it can have a big difference, especially if you take it on a really empty stomach like when you just get up, but IME when people take things on an empty stomach they are more likely to get sick and have a worse time then if they were to eat like a soup an hour or 2 before they take something.

Basically IMO the smaller rush you get isnt worth not eating all day for.

I like to take all drugs on a completely empty stomach no matter how I take em. I find I feel cleaner and that I can appreciate and notice the drug more. However that's just me and it's mostly hippy bullshit so just do what makes you feel good dude.

Some people eat greasy bacon and pancakes for hangover food while I stick with coffee and fruit. Whatever floats your boat.

All that being said if you are swallowing the drugs then stomach contents do have a part to play beside nausea. With regards to IVing/snorting heroin though, it's purely how it makes you feel when you're full or hungry or whatever.
