Heroin not Euphoric?

Hey guys, tried heroin for the first two times and I've been quite dissappointed.

I've been snorting tiny bumps in order to stay safe, (like matchhead size) and building my dose up and there's just no euphoria at all.

It's not fentanyl, because it lasts longer and admittedly feels better but nothing amazing.

Is my dose just too low? I'm not nodding out but I can if I relax and close my eyes, just feel pretty tired but I'm weary to up my dosage as I have no idea how much it takes to OD. Not feeling any nausea at all.

To some people (around 1 in 4 who try it), heroin is the ultimate euphoria. However, I never really saw what the big deal was. It was very sedating and mildly pleasant, but I never got anywhere close to being remotely addicted to it, and I tried it IV and intranasally for probably 5x total, all different batches. However, pushing in the needle when you have the right amount of some good stuff and you did not miss your shot, I did find euphoric and addictive. However, that only takes like what 5 seconds? I don't like being sedated. I am a stimulant freak.

Sounds like you're doing pretty tiny bumps. I wouldn't worrying about uping the dosage slightly. Try doing a bump two or three times the size and giving it some time to see how you feel. But it may also be that your expectations are too high and you're expecting some crazy euphoria that just isn't going to happen.

It sounds to me like you might not be trying hard enough. And you're also probably giving yourself a tolerance by doing little bumps. But more seriously, I've never had any luck with heroin either. The times that I tried, my friends all agreed it was good heroin. They were smoking it and injecting it. I've only tried smoking it a couple of times and it made me too nauseous to enjoy the high, which I didn't really care for anyways. Trainspotting had just come out and I was rather disappointed. I suppose smoking it can't quite compare to IV'ing the shit, but I didn't have the stomach for it. But a decade later I did get to try fentanyl IV'ed, in a hospital, so it wasn't the best of set or setting. The experience was so amazing that set and setting didn't really matter. I felt warm and fuzzy and everything was awesome, for about 3 minutes per injection. To this day I think about buying some fentanyl because of those experiences I had...but there are just too reports of people dying from it.
