hi fellas, first time posting in this forum so im not on my turf here, just wondering what the interaction between heroin and nicotine is and why i cant put cigarettes down after getting heavy. i've begun chain smoking cigarettes it started out with one or two in a row, now ill smoke a whole pack down to ashes.

not sure, but a cigeratte after a nice shot of opiates (especially morphine and heroin) is very good.

be real careful though, this is how a lot of bed fires and stuff happens, so if you feel yourself nodding out and you still have a cig in your hand, or if you notice that you can't feel you're holding a cigarette you need to sit it down. and the best ashtray for that is the kind where it has the cig holders in the middle of the ashtray rather than around the edges, that way if you forget and it burns down to where it falls, it will fall into the ashtray instead of on the table.

i see what you mean.

im just wondering if receptors in the brain that are agitated by nicotine are already occupied (sorry for lack of terminology) which might explain why i cant seem to "get my fill of cigarettes" other times i can smoke half a cigarette and get a queasy dry heeving feeling, however on opiates i can not seem to put cigarettes down. a pack or so in 8-ish hours.

I think it's got something to do with heroin being a downer and nicotine being an upper. They just go well together. I do the exact same thing after doing a nice shot of dope. I'll just sit and chain smoke like 3 or 4 cigarettes in a row.
