heroin..missed vein

I started slamming heroin for the first time last week. I've been slamming tar everyday for 4 days and haven't done any in a few days. I missed my vein a few times during that time and today I did a little and missed a vein as well

The swelling has gone away from the times I missed a few days ago and just left bruising, but I missed again just a little bit ago

I have a strong immune system so I was curious as to what my chances are of getting an abscess?

It's unlikely you'll get an abscess. Just apply pressure with a towel soaked with warm/hot water, it will eventually absorb and you'll feel the shot. Should take about 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye on the area in the days to come and as long as it doesn't become red, swollen, sore and inflammed, you'll be fine.

Make sure you are injecting as hygienically as possible. That is in a nutshell using swabs, soap cleaned hands, not sharing, using fit only once, sterile water, wheel filter if possible. As above the shot will soak in...But repetedly missing or just injecting causes scar tissue to build up and veins will eventually collapse

I haven't been the cleanest with my injecting, but I will never share. I rub hand sanitizer on the injection spot sometimes because that's all I have currently. Today wasn't one of those days though, unfortunately

I'm not going to do heroin for awhile because I don't have a dealer anymore, and no more injecting drugs for me
