Ive been on Bupe. but it has been three days since the last bupe. dose
Maybe there's still bupe lingering in your body that's preventing you from getting high.
Some people seem to be able to go for 2-4 days without buprenorphine and have no withdrawal symptoms; so maybe its still in your system.
When i was on Bupe and i tried to get high, and shot up my normal amount of heroin (which would normally have me nodding) and it did nothing . I had no rush, no sedation, no euhoria etc...even when i I.V'd again (which would be double my normal dose), i definately didn't miss the vein, and again felt nothing...it was like shooting up water. Perhaps bupe is the problem.
So maybe wait a few more days; 6 days after your last dose of buprenorphine you should be able to feel the effects of full agonists again (although i used to only wait 3 days, and then i would be able to feel the heroin again; but the longer you wait the better, and opiates will hit you like "normal".
