Okay, so sometimes when I do heroin. I'm an IV user. I get a very sharp pain in the right side of my head, right above my eye, in between my nose and my temple. It's always in the same spot. This is normally accompanied with nausea. The strange thing is, as soon as I throw up I feel perfectly fine. And I mean the relief is instant. Usually before I even get up from vomiting. It doesn't happen all the time, in fact it's quite rare. I'm curious if anyone else has this happen to them, what causes it, and if there is a way to prevent it from happening. Most of the time it's not that bad and like I said it goes away after I throw up. But sometimes the pain is pretty bad. To the point where I have to make myself vomit to make it go away.

Funny that u posted this because the last time i IVed H this exact same thing happend, and lime u said right after vomiting it imediantly went away.

When I use to shoot up if I did too much in a day I would get migraines accompanied by vomiting which only happened when I did too much and I dont mean like OD or anything just too much in a day. It doesnt seem like that is the case with you as vomiting never helped me. Are you sure its even related to dope if its so infrequent?

I get these when I do too much H or morphine in a day. I suspect it has to do with both vasodilation in the blood vessels of the brain accompanied with respiratory depression leading to a low O2 level, but I've never done any tests to confirm this. I just try to take lots of deep breaths and don't use any more if I get the headache. I get them especially upon waking if I've gone to sleep really high.
Keep an eye on your dosing and maybe even try logging the effects of each dose to see if it's possibly related to the amount you're using. If it is, you're certainly not the only one.

@szuko000 - I'm positive it's connected to using heroin. I have no history of migraines, and I don't do it every day. It might only occur rarely, but when it does happen, heroin is always the common denominator. Like I've never once had it happen to me and been sober, So I can't see it being caused by anything else.
@wezface - Idk if it has to do with doing too much. I'm a pretty regular user and I have a pretty decent tolerance, so if it was up to me there wouldn't be an amount called "too much". What I can say though, is that it doesn't get any worse if I do more. Once it starts the pain is there to stay and it's consistent. That is until I throw up. Then like I said, the relief is immediate. I think your idea about the vasodilation is on the right track though. The pain feels really sharp with a definite amount of pressure. Which seems to be consistent with that kind of thing. But then the question is why does vomiting give instant relief? Because throwing up seems entirely unconnected with vasodilation in the brain, but I'm not a doctor, so I really wouldn't know where to start with something like that.
@ chrisastler94- I'm glad you posted, it's good to know I'm not the only one who experiences this. Especially since you get the same relief from throwing up symptom that I get. I was starting to worry I had a brain tumor or something lol. So I'm glad someone else is reporting the same thing, it makes me a little less crazy. It's really weird how throwing up can fix a pain in your head and I'm really determined to find answer about it. I mean it doesn't happen to me all the time. But it happens enough to where I think it's a problem, and I want to know if I can prevent it or something.

Agreed^ i want to know what it is too! And deffinently let me know if u find out. For me again it only really happends when im iving, and even then not all to often. But yes!, deffinently enough to be a lil freaked out .

I only notice the same thing when I bang opiates in a hurry n dont filter well, or one of the people that cut the dope was a retard, kinda like cotton fever. I feel for ya that shit sucks lol

Nah, when I do H I very rarely resort to IV and I'll still get headaches if I overdo it. Usually more of a dull, groggy, foggy headed type of headache with occasional twinges of sharp pain though. I would have to be using all day for this to happen. They're very annoying to say the least

This happens to me. Happened last night (not IV)...I'm not sure if this dope is just strong or cut with something crazy. I didn't even finish a whole bag and I could barely keep my eyes open and feltunbearable nausea for hours (until I finally threw up). Regardless, this used to happen when I first started doing dope or when I got strong stuff usually from Jersey. I was warned about this current batch but didn't take it seriously. I can't believe I can't even finish a bag at a time...
Are you remaining hydrated OP? Heroin and opioids in general are going to decrease the body's natural urge to both eat and drink. Being jammed can cause you to forego some fairly obvious health and hygiene practices.

Fent cut dope is crazy ive fell out on that shit multiple times one of the times I woke up with cops and a bunch of paramedics around me one of them pumping air down my throat. Shit was fd up, when I left the hospital I had the worst head ache ever. Could of been the little bit of narcan they got in me before I told them I didn't want anymore haha.
