heroin hallucinations??!

Has anyone experienced well.... Hallucinations while high on dope? Basically the last few times I've done it (and I've done it maybe 20 to 25 times over the past two years, not including any other opiate pills I've taken, strictly heroin) I've had what I can only call mini dreams when I nod out that are more like acid hallucinations. It only lasts a few moments until i snap out of it. Its not unpleasant..... Just weird. Is this normal or am I possibly a) schizo or b)having some weird acid flashback or c) idk... Maybe having some weird reaction to what it's cut with?

Can anyone help explain this or have experienced something similar? Thanks in advance

Also, I snort it. I've iv-ed before but not for a long time. All the times I've tripped out I snorted it.

Nodding out and having dreams that only last a short while until you are jumped back into consciousness is common.. if that's what you're talking about.

Well I guess they are just really lucid and vivid, but yeah I think they were just dreams. Just weirded me out cuz I hadn't experienced it before! Lol.

I've gotten this from high dose codeine before. Hallucinations in the nod are common.

Yeah some nods lead to way more intense dreams than others. I get them too sometimes. They almost feel like hallucinations because you're kind of in the in-between state of being awake and asleep.. nodding/dreaming in short bursts.

Sounds like youre having the exact same thing I was trying to explain and get possible answer when im on meth. It doesnt always happen, but what you described sounds very similar.

I have to specify when the dope is good I get crap too, but when it's good, I get what Issac informed us of. Interesting that's where the expression "pipe dream" comes from.

I've gotten this from Opium plenty (mainly orally) but only from dope Truly once. I suspected it was cut qith scopolamine-it had that vivid anticholinergenic feeling. I was shocked and how out of it I was- and it wasn't anything like a normal nod.
