Heroin dreams

I have used Heroin a good twenty times now, and the past few times, I have received some very high quality stuff. Anyone that's done good Heroin knows the feeling. There is nothing like it. Now I have a question.

Who here gets mild to strong hallucinations or "dreams" from Heroin? I did a couple bags today, and man was I dreaming pretty hard. I was seeing sparkly stuff falling from the ceiling, I closed my eyes and hit the gas to my car after a red light turned green, and a cop chased me down the road with his lights on, and I saw the sky (in a dream) with the face of God as seen in its imperfect form by humans in the middle of the sky separate into puzzle pieces to reveal the true essence of God behind the puzzle. Now, I did take a couple hits of some good Cannabis that night, and I know that added to my visual experience, but the Heroin made it all the more real. Anyone else enjoy the visuals, hallucinations, dreams, or whatever you want to call it from Heroin (or other Opiates/Opioids)? This is very common from Codeine as well for me. I actually had a similar experience with mixing Psilocybian mushrooms and Codeine. I get something different but along the same lines when mixing Kratom and Cannabis as well.
 
Sometimes I get mild visuals when using heroin. I see patterns on peoples faces and movments from the corners of my eye.
I thought it was just sleep deprivation, but I guess it could be something else.
Dunno if that really has anything to do with what your describing.
 
Actually, yes, that is part of it, though I have had more than that. The movements I see sometimes take form if I pay attention to them. I mean, this is nothing psychedelic-like, but the dreams are really enjoyable.
 
My first time using Duragesic...the night after I took off the patch (after 48hrs of usage) I had the most vivid, realistic nightmares I have ever had in my life...three separate ones within 3 hours of waking up/falling back asleep....and I never get nightmares.
 
I love it when I get these heroin 'dreams'. They're basically lucid dreaming and can come in many forms. Often when I'm watching tv I'll close my eyes without realising and continue to 'see' the images. The only way I know something isn't right is when the dialogue starts to become totally mismatched to the programme and I wake up, startled. I love it. I'll also sometimes see people in the room and try to talk to them or go to play with some bit of electrical kit I can see in front of me. I'll stretch out my hand and try to turn up the volume or put in another cd!

I like the rush and all but it's the hallucinations afterwards that really do it for me.

Well, I do get mild hallucinations and vivid dream-like experiences, such as the feeling that I am walking over to the television and going to grab a remote control when in reality I am just nodding off on the floor, bed, couch, etc. On occasions, I may nod off and really do fall asleep and have a really vivid dream and when I wake up I feel confused as if it really happened or not. The hallucinations, if that is what you would like to call them, only come into play when I'm catching an all mighty nod. Diacetylmorphine creates these effects more than any other opioid in my opinion. Large doses of Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone, and Morphine would be the runner ups in producing these vivid dream-like nods. When I was in the early stages of opioid abuse with a low tolerance, I would actually get feelings of dissociation of the body and mind from hydrocodone. Those days were great when 40mg of hydrocodone would get me high.
 
it's nice that you've done heroin like twenty times but believe me this dream like shit you're talking about will be gone after some heavy usage.
 
it's kinda funny. when i went to rehab for opiates the bitch lady told me that my fucked up dreams would stop once i'd been clean for a while.

i was kinda pissed cuz honestly i love my fucked up dreams. she said it like havin lucid/in depth/awesome/reasiltic dreams was a bad thing, n that i should be glad when i m gone.

i guess she wanted to tell me what she thought i wanted to hear.
fuck her. fuck rehab.

heroin makes for good dreams...but personally i prefer benzo's for awesome dreams
 
Hey Creative, do you get none of these effects at all when you're using? It's just like K'dOUT described, the whole thinking you're doing something only to find you're dribbling on your t-shirt with a stupid grin on your face.

Yes sir. Just like all drugs, they lose their magic after awhile but unlike MDMA, with opioids you are left with a heafty physical and mental addiction that consumes your entire life.
 
When i had the Fleetwood mac stamps(which was a very strong batch) over a year ago they gave me dissociative like hallucinations, which had nothing to do with the H. Whatever the cut was it made things pretty intense and frightening at times. Maybe pcp or a strong anti-histamine?
 
i had these "dreams" in the first 3 months.. they went away and never came back after that.. just dreams of getting clean mostly (while i had my habit.). it was usually part of a nod
 
The waking dreams are pretty much the only reason I enjoy heroin so much.

I've had full conversations with people before realizing I'm in the backyard by myself nodding out with a cigarette in my hand that is now out. Not to mention some extremely psychedelic type imagery that to this day blows my mind. Seeing full scale paintings being created in front of my eyes or flowers blooming, suns setting, roads flowing by and becoming rivers, only to be blown apart by a passing car's headlights waking me out of my stupor.
 
Hypnopompic/gogic are not uncommon, as we know heroin and its friend 6-MAM do see to effect virtually all opioid receptors to some extent. The sigma/kappa agonist properties of this morphine derivative, though however weak, can compound in high doses and cause "morphine dreams". The results is dissociation/hallucinogenic effect, is not uncommon, and is certainly dose related. However it is quite unique, and can turn dysphoric in an instant (with skagheads, this is generally manifested through anger/depression, and additive psychosis. Afterall, morphine IS named after Morpheus, the god of sleep/dreams? But considering its wide spectrum receptor agonist properties (though mainly a mu1,2 agonist), plus its supression of REM (amoung other things), high dose dia/diacetylmorphine shows why very vivid dream is no mystery.

I am TOO fucking sober.....
