Hello there everyone new to the forums here as a poster anyways. I am on day 2 of heroin detox, I have an unnaturally fast healing process which is very helping with withdrawal as about day 5 I feel reborn.:D I am using Tramadol to get through the worst of it I took 75mg at 10:30 yesterday morning upon waking up with my eyes filled with water like the rain forms a puddle on the ground, lethargic and weak. After the said dose of Tramadol kicked in I felt much better but not perfect I proceeded to take another 25mg a hour or 2 later and felt fine, 7-8 hours later around 9pm I took my last 50mg. Totaling 150mg throughout the day.
Okay so I didn't sleep at all that night but I wasn't feeling withdrawal which I found strange. But it is now noon where I am at I haven't dosed on Tramadol yet today and am feeling pretty far from ill. Being at least 13-15 hours since last dose. I was coming off 30-60$ of heroin a day intravenous, would use subs in between and yes I shot my suboxone, to appease some darker ritualistic fetish that has grown a part of me over the last few years.
MY PLAN, day 2 14 hours since last dose, Day 1 I took 150mg over the course of 12-14 hours, Day 2 I am limiting myself to 100, 125max as I am trying to never do more than the day before. Thus Day 3 I will take no more than 75mg. and after day 3 I will stop using this crutch and just push it for the home stretch.
Now I am here for support, I need to regain my life I am to intelligent and have to much ambition to keep a noose tied around my neck forever. Do you all with experience think a quick taper with Tramadol will set me back, at any rate I know I will have made progress in those 3 days but will it have slowed it at any rate??
