Heroin compared to Oxy

Fuck heroin. Ruined my life. Hate the stuff.

For me it was the other way round to most of you, I'd tried H loads but really wanted to experience oxy, hydro, etc. Did end up getting some in the end and it was shit because of my tolerance and far too expensive to bother with again.
 
I <3 opiates but I never used H since I knew I'd enjoy it too much.

I've also seen what it can do to people when they get addicted to it and my ex IV H using friends told me how even if you only chip and try to use it infrequently eventually you'll crave it more and more and get hooked. I've also been told how even if you swear that you're only going to smoke or snort eventually you'll try needles as a ROA.

Low/moderate doses of oxy, hydro, and codeine (not all at once, and taken orally) were enough.
 
love all opiates lol.. H is lovely.. but i have to say i like the OCs more mainly because they do cook up nicely, and you know what is in them, and what the dose is so its safer in that sense.. as far as effects though.. both great substances!!
 
Is there really a comparison?

Its funny because my first opiate experience was a 40mg oxy, which I obviously really enjoyed. I soon started doing them once or twice a week, but as stated before it became too expensive and decided to move to raw.

I started out snorting it and usually two bags would get me really messed up. The quality in the detroit area is always superb and dirt cheap, so it made for easy access and addiction. Well soon enough, as almost all h users do, I turned to the needle in hopes of getting more "bang for my buck". In reality, all I got was "more bang for my addiction".

Oxy is great, but IMO heroin is absolutely dangerous. People who snort it may bitch that it isnt as good as oxy, but once you bang it prepare for the worst. I believe there is no greater feeling, which is what ultimately makes it so terrible.

Heroin tops the charts without a doubt, but use at your own risk
 
Maybe banging h is different than banging oxy or hydromorphone. I don't find the needle particularly addicting. I love using it, but I can easily put it away and go back to snorting/eating/smoking whatever
 
Its soo much better. More potential for harm though. Don't assume you'll automatically be selling your stereo if you try it.... However just becuase you don't sell your stereo the next day doesn't mean your in the clear and aren't going to get addicted. I knew an addict that used occasionally for 2 years before he started shooting up 2 or 3 times a day.

Yeah it took time for me to become full blown addicted. Was able to do it on a once off. Then like once a week, then twice a week, then eventually it became daily.

It's very dangerous stuff. It obviously isn't the same for everyone, but personally for me I wish I had never touched it in the first place.

Wow, I've gone through some shit with my oxy.

But in hindsight I'm still glad I took it. Just wish I could have done differently with my parents and everything, not made the same mistakes, you know.

And now with this dilaudid it doesn't look like I'm going to repeat the same mistakes I made in the past, which is good.
 
I actually enjoy the initial effects of IVing hydromorphone waaay more than h, but in the long run the high from heroin is better IMO.
 
So heroin would be sort of like the downer version of oxy? oxy doesn't make me run around but gives me some energy I wouldn't have, while also feeling awesome, so H would be the similar feeling but with more of a lazy feel? Talking about bumping it(H, oxy orally, I JUST now have access to no APAP oxy but not really interested in snorting pills, especially of a drug designed to be taken orally).
Probably wouldn't happen soon(I could, but not really that interested), mostly making sure I understand it if the time comes.
 
IMO hydromorphone has a much larger rush when injected compared to heroin. Both are very lipid soluble and cross the BBB very fast. Hydromorphone is very short acting though, which is why I prefer h due to its longer duration.
 
I tried really hard to enjoy snorting oxy. I bought 5x 80's and crushed them up. I've had them for over a month now and I'd say they're about 1/2 gone. I find the high to be really hit or miss. I take a small line, but it seems to wear off quickly, so I do more.. and eventually I get some rushes which are OK if I'm on benzos or booze, but just gives me anxiety when I'm sober. Usually by the end of the night I end up feeling on edge and spaced out, and sometimes on the verge of an anxiety attack. Then instead of getting a nice sleep, I sleep like shit and have to make up the hours later.

Oxycodone on the other hand, I can do 20mg's and be blissed out for hours and hours simply by dosing orally.

It's a prohibitively expensive drug anyways that I won't always have access to, but I don't really see the addicting quality. I find it to be self-correcting, atleast with my body chemistry.
