Heroin compared to Oxy

It all depends how good the H you get is...I seem to find that snorting an oxy 80 is much stronger then 1 bag of dope...
 
depends on where youre at too. itll almost definitely be much cheaper, however i found that after doing oxy for a couple years and switching to tar it took awhile to like the heroin. The first week or so i was smoking it i really didnt feel high. i would nod or smoke until i felt sick trying to get a buzz but its just different than pills. Now ive acquired the taste for it and like them both.
 
i find oxy to be more euphoric and H is more sedating and sleepy. is definitely cheaper and more fiendy. it's like coke in a way, you get your little bags of powder instead of pills...makes it much more addicting IMO

I'd probably agree... but an 80 is so much more expensive than 1 bag of dope, no matter how good a deal one may get on the street. Obviously this is not the case if you have an Rx tho.
 
I find OCs to give me more of a speedy opiated high, while dope is way more sedating. But at the right dose of any powerful opiate i have great motivation and will/can do just about anything. I personally like the rush of bangin dope better than bangin OCs though
 
I'm a sniffer but I previously didnt care for dope earlier in my addiction..I did one bag and agree to sedating. A few weeks ago now that my tolerance is much higher (80-100mg to nod before, now 180-240 to maybe nod) I snatched up a few flaps from Keene, NH. about double to what you'd pay in the city for each bag but they were fat and not stepped on...2 of these bags had me i ended up doin 3 flaps over about an hour an was ROCKED. With oxy you get that nice stimulating feeling but you're also spending soooo much. With H you'll be feeln great noddin (hopefully) and I spend like 150$ less a night when I do dope lol.
 
There isn't a difference in the high to me but heroin is much, much cheaper. My tolerance shot through the roof very quickly when I started picking up a couple grams of heroin at a time a few months ago. I went from no tolerance to snorting a gram a day within what couldn't have been much more than a few days time. If you have the money and access to however much you want I can't see many people not ramping up their usage very quickly. I stopped after a couple of weeks but went through a couple of grand I think during that time and from what I understand most people have a hell of a time stopping opiates, a word to the wise and all that.
 
People say it's similar, I thought it would be similar and I used oxymophone and oxycodone plenty before ever touching heroin. I never had a problem with them and did them every once in a while. It was because of my assumption heroin would be very similar to oxymorphone and I would be able to control myself with it like I was with other opiates that I tried it.

DO NOT LET IT FOOL YOU AND DO NOT TOUCH HEROIN EVER. Heroin is completely different, the effects are similar but there is something indescribable about it that all other drugs lack which makes it incredibly addicting. If you don't feel it is so much better and different snorting then you certainly will when you inject it. I was on my way to becoming an addict the first time I snorted a bag and was IVing it within 14 days. I had experimented with a lot of drugs before and my one rule that I swore to myself I would never break was using needles and I broke that when i became a heroin addict.

My rationale for IVing was the same as your rationale right now for trying heroin since it's cheaper, I convinced myself it was ok since I would need less and it would be more efficient and cost effective. Well that didn't work out, soon my tolerance shot up (Edit: I hate going back to find I made some unintentional pun) and I was doing 10+ bags a day three weeks after touching it for the first time. You say you don't want to IV and just snort it? I think that's what everyone says when they first start using heroin and inevitably nearly all heroin users/addicts (same thing) will start injecting at some point when they want to save more money and feel more of a rush like their first time which they will chase constantly. if you start using heroin there is a near certain chance you will become addicted and start IVing. People who don't are rare exceptions.

Heroin is pure evil. Pay the extra money for the pharmaceuticals if you can use them recreationally unless you're already strongly addicted to opiates, in which cash heroin will just accelerate that addiction and turn it into a much bigger problem.

It probably is cheaper even if you have an Rx. When you are buying bricks and paying $5 per bag I'm nearly certain the retail price of Oxycontin (brand) is still more expensive.

yeah, here they just go by weight, .1 is a point. no one really calls 'em bags here, but ottawa is not that big on H, probably cause the price. the H you get someone copped in mtl, sometimes toronto. people mostly use pharms around here, which is completely messed up if you ask me. someone could be making a killing with H. oxy is huge and people who iv use morphine or hydromorph. but no matter how big the down scene is, crack is a lot bigger.
 
I have found that there is nothing like H. To me, H is magic (unfortunately). I play music better, get into things more and have a very vivid dream state when on H. Oxy is next to that but to me, not like it hardly at all. To me, Oxy is way more speedy. It's fuuny to see how people (and myself) change into almost a split-personality when on strong Opiates. I know people who would even be called different names or aliases when on dope because they'd be such a different personality. Thanks for listening, Az

for me H isn't as fun, but probably because every time i did it i OD'ed.

How did you manage to OD on heroin every time? Didn't you learn to start lower after the first time?
 
I'm scared to do H. Everyone I know that goes that way doesn't end, up good if even alive. Ya oxy is expensive but in a way it seems to kind of control itself because of that. The pricing on H is almost set up for a crash and burn as far as tolerance.

Just a heads up, there's no pricing allowed except in the price thread.

Yeah, bottom line, don't touch heroin, ever. You will save money and your life sticking to pharms in the long run.
