Heroin heroin + cocaine snorted = uneven absorption of heroin??

If one were to snort both cocaine and heroin at roughly the same time, could the vasoconstrictive effects of cocaine cause the snorted heroin to not be absorbed until later? Could there be the possibility that because the heroin was blocked from absorbing, that the user does more, only to experience a "massive" absorption of heroin, that being the first dose following the cocaine, and the second dose trying to get high?

1) Is this an actual possibility?

2) If so, could it be avoided by snorting the heroin first, or even by using different nostrils for each drug?

Any thoughts, comments, tips, etc... welcomed, thanks in advance.

I don't have time at the moment to research and find a scientific answer for you, but off the top of my head my thought would be that if you snorted a line of dope/coke where it was mixed somewhat evenly, the vasoconstrictive properties of the coke would not really effect the absorption of the dope. the effect would be negligible, and I doubt you would notice. I have been going to the methadone clinic for almost a year now, but back before I started IVing dope and occasionally coke I would snort this combo very often, and each on their own. i never was disappointed when mixing the two and didn't notice much of a less effect from the dope.

If you are still nervous or unsure, your best bet would be to just snort the dope first then the coke a couple minutes later. Also, if you made a liquid solution of the drugs and used a spray bottle to put it up your nose it would help speed up the absorption I would believe.

Thanks for the reply, not nervous more like curious. I think your right, any effect would probably be negligible. Just in case though, someone doing this should probably use the heroin first and the coke later. As for the aqueous solution idea, would work for the coke but probably not so well for the heroin, and even doing so with the coke has its problems. (Heroin turns into morphine when in water very quickly, and cocaine or any drug solution needs to have alcohol added to it to prevent rapid bacterial growth---just learned that stuff from a recent thread...just giving credit where credit is due)

Actually not that quickly. If it's the same thread I read, the study reported found that only 4-13% turned to 6-MAM after 24 hours, and none to morphine after that period (I found that surprising) -- 6-MAM is actually pretty good. http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showpost.php?p=9160518&postcount=10
Before knowing anything about hydrolysis of heroin-->morphione (not that I know much now) I used to fill a nasal spray bottle in the morning and use it all day (in order that my family would just think i had allergies, and not know that i would doing dope at Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner). Also, occasionally filled a little bottle with aqueous solution and injected 9-5 at work when no one was looking.
That was off topic I guess.
Interesting idea about coke's vasoconstriction and snorting though. I doubt it's been specifically studied in an experimental setting. I would guess the same as poster(s) above.
