Heroin Heroin - aweful headache/hangover

Ohhh boy where do I start. First off I've been on opis for awhile and trying to stablise anyway a day or so back I picked up from reg guy, The gear was darker I could tell so I cook up and some foam whiich takes it's time but goes. When drawn up it looks light when it's usually dark when in the barrel. I do it on my hand and do 1/10th - 10 sec - 1/2 - 10sec yeah I can feel it aint bad then as I finsh I notice a headache. So I drank, I felt kinda ill and went to sleep I woke - feeling dehydrated and a migrane thumping and thurst and vomiting. I think oh I feel so crap like a bad hangover. Stiff neck, keep sleeping, cba gettung anything just trying to drink water and I added ISOTONIC nux and downed vits, room was a mess (haha frugging hate that) so I own some dph (anti hisamine). Being unable to get out of bed I fix the problem with more drugs (paracetamol, water/iso, incase its stress I add gbl, diaz. It improves so I fiht fire with fire and play the mistriy hunt to find my last 4 bags and just thought I'll snort them (like half a bag every 30min) they helped in the end.

Was aiiiite the IV was about 6pm and FF to 6pm and I am just getting better, about 7=8pm the problem is gone. I goto PHARMAY via taxi (sigh) and get my daily subs and back home, thank f- it's gone - I bought Iboueth and Aspirin, SO felt alrighty. Anyway it's 7am so 12hr after gonig to the PHARM and I think mmm, and find ONE last bag so I give the one a shot, most was blocked but a headache came back popped 2 Iboueth and asprin sitting here now ok.

I am just wondering does anyone have exp like this? A headache straight with your hit dodgy gear deffo I would say. Now I have a high tolerebce my first bag shot was 1.5 then a 2.5 bagger normally I do 4-5x. the last was just a single.

Anyway hope this aint rule breaknig I am from NW ENGLAND - if you're #3 seems diferent - well dark n rocky (I know this isn't much help but moral of the story if you get new gear try single bag shots usually deallers assume 1 bag per dose so cut shit with it meaning multiple bags you od or have problens.

This deffo wasn't opiate sicknes as I've never been sick heh aoart friom when I wa young and snorted bupe (oh boy). This went into the next day with migrane;

My mates are over and will be indulging in some, I'm warning them and will post what they think. Injection site is fine as pine.

Well, first off - you said you drank after you shot up. Drank what? If it was alcohol, that probably explains the way you felt when you woke up. If it was water or some other sort of beverage, did you have a temperature at all? Those sound like symptoms of cotton fever, which can hit you right away or a couple hours after the shot, and it comes on very suddenly. There isn't much of a build-up to it... it's more like, BAM! and your temperature suddenly skyrockets. Those are also common symptoms of being dehydrated, which takes more than a sip of water to be fixed! It could have been anything, really, but since you say it happened immediately after administering your dose, it's quite likely that is the culprit.

I've had cotton fever a few times, and it's as uncomfortable and painful as what you described. If you had a temperature along with those symptoms, I would say with almost 100% certainty that's what it was...

In the future, with new batches, you should do a small amount first to start off... or at the very least, do it slowly (which I think you said you did). But you should exercise caution even more so if something seems weird about the product.

i've never gotten a headache on heroin.
i've gotten sick on it before as in puking/nausea but never any pain.
foam in the solution?
thats nasty as shit.

LSD - I think what he means by "foam in the solution" is the foam that appears when you squirt it out of the syringe into your cooker/spoon and when you draw it up. It's nothing bad, it's just how certain chemicals react when they're expelled too quickly - kind of like how when you pour out soda sometimes, and the foam appears on top. I'm assuming that's the kind of foam he's talking about anyway, since he didn't seem too concerned by it.

why would you squirt it back in the cooker.
actually i think i know what you mean, when you draw it up into the cotton, and cause of air coming in the syringe there will be little bubbles while you're pulling it up.
if thats what he means everything i've ever injected has done that (heroin mostly, methamphetamine a few times)

you guys dissolve your dope, then squirt the solution back into the cooker?
whats the point of that?
how i've always done it is dumped the dope/meth into the cooker (i prefer water bottle caps), then squirted however much water into the cooker, then dropped the cotton in, drew it up, then got the air bubbles out obv, then bang

lol no I don't always do that. I don't know if the OP does. But I would do that when it stopped drawing up the solution for whatever reason, usually from a cotton fiber or something getting stuck in the point. Then I'd have to squirt it out and start all over again. It didn't happen often, but it did happen... generally when I had run out of cleans and was reusing an old rig. Sometimes I'd have to do it more than once too. It was a pain in the ass.

well knowing you're shooting tar that probably makes sense.
i've reused 31s plenty of times and i think i only had one clog once (and it clogged with blood, idr exactly. it wasn't fully clogged either, i got my shot off)
but we're talking powder with me.

Yeah, the rig clogging with blood is another one. I've had that happen to me more times than I'd like, but that was due more to poor technique than anything else. It happened a lot when I was first learning to shoot up myself. There have only been a couple of times I wasn't able to get my shot off though and the shot was just completely wasted. I hated those times.

Tar most definitely sucks ass. And it's a BITCH to separate, it gets all sticky and all over your fingers so you end up wasting a lot of it. Ugh. Again, I am not going to miss that part of it lol.

i wouldn't even smoke tar, let alone inject it.
but hell i wasn't a big fan of injecting powder either.
