Hi everyone, I have three questions, one of them regarding veins. I am a weekend user and had just prepared up a nice quantity of smack. I register, shoot half, leave the neede for 60sec or so (to make sure that I didn't prepare to much) and wanted to register (to make sure I'm still in a vein) and shoot again. This however did not work because my rig clogged from the blood in it (I only used 4 units or so), but I didn't notice this until later. So what I did was I poked around In my favorite places looking for a vein (my veins are all ok since I only shoot up on weekends). I got very pissed off at myself because I just couldn't register (because of the blood clotting the syringe).

Then it hit me! The blood clotted in my syringe, fuck! So now I have 6 red dots on my favorite 6 veins and I am wondering, how much damage did I do? I know my arm isn't gonna fall off, but I don't want to develop scar tissue, and have collapsed veins. At the moment I am applying hydrocortisone cream to make the scars heal faster. Does anyone have any tips regarding this? I want to know what to do next weekend, is it "safe" to inject in one of my six veins next weekend without causing significant scar tissue to build up? Or should I give these a two week break and search for other veins temporarily?

My other question is: has anyone gotton hold of naloxone (narcan) in Sydney? I'm just interested

Also, if I wanted to go overseas and take a tiny stash (20mg morphine to make the plane trip less boring) could I dissolve the powder in water and put it in an insulin vial? It's completely airtight, so I don't see how any dog could smell it (the vial will be very well washed on the outside). also I'm allowed to carry them cause someone who's goin with me is diabetic (type 1 mind you).

You should be fine, I believe it takes quite a while of continuous use to build up any noticeable scar tissue. And if those 6 dots are spread out over multiple veins, then you're really in no trouble at all. As for the dog, I'm not even sure that they are trained to detect morphine - though I could be wrong.

Sorry, I didn't mean morphine, sadly I only have access to heroin at the moment and morphine in tablets, but tablets are easy to take. What worries me is the smell of vinigar. I know I'm a little paranoid, especially because I bet tons of people smell a little like vinigar... But better safe than sorry.

Also, please remember, these veins are used once every six weeks atleast. One of them one week ago, another two weeks ago, the third three weeks ago etc. It usualy goes smoothly, I have never fucked up this bad lol. Thanks for the quick reply.

First of all, I think you are being just a tad bit to worried about the whole vein issue. I mean, I know it is very important to use proper technique and take every measure possible to not damage your veins, but it sounds to me like you really dont inject that much. And just because you had to poke a few veins to try and register, which caused a few red dots, doesnt mean you are in any immediate danger of vein collapse, or some other related issue. Allthough, in the interest of harm reduction, I would definitely reccommend to be very careful and do your best not to inject in those same spots....i mean, you can probably use the same veins, just not directly on those red dots. I personally was a heroin addict for a very long time and I injected using extremely dull needles several times a day, every day, into the same injection sites(and that was very stupid of me, but it was partly due to the fact i live in a state that has outlawed needle exchanges), and i never once had any issues. Im not saying that you have nothing to worry about, im just saying that if I had to guess, I would say you are perfectly fine and dont need to worry so much about the "dots" or your veins(but dotn get me wrong, always be careful and safe).

I dont live in australia so i cant answer your second question.

And im pretty sure were not allowed to help you come up with ideas to smuggle narcotics on airplanes. but i will tell you this.....dont do it, those drug dogs can smell that shit for sure. i dont care how good you cleaned the outside of the syringe, or how deep you stored it in your suitcase. Those dogs are fucking unbelievable when it comes to sniffing narcotics. Its not worth jail time. I can promise you that.

actually yes they can. dogs can DEFINITELY smell morphine. not only because they are trained specifically to smell morphine, but also because they are trained to smell for opium, and morphine is one of the major alkoloids in opium.

Thank you very much, my question about taking the stuff on airplanes is answered. As for the veins, I was worried that I can't use the same spots again. I will try to use a different vein next time. Thanks for the advice. Btw is it allowed to take micron filters on an aircraft?

yes, as far as i know, micron filters arent illegal anywhere, so carrying one with you on an airlplane should be fine. Allthough I could be wrong, they dont even let you bring toothpaste anymore.

Can you take a micron filter overseas or on an airplane?

its not ilegal to have a syringe and filter on a plane. a used one with drug residue would be considered paraphernalia but i just think they'd throw something like that away. i've packed prescription medications into luggage (checked in luggage, not carry-ons) for years, without the slightest problems. even through customs coming back from southeast asia (golden triangle).

if you're flying domestic you have a much smaller risk.

Yea, thanks for understanding and defending me : ) I have done this for a year now. Although I have to admit that there is a lot temptation, but any drug use has it's pro's and con's and to me the pro's outweigh the con's (until I become addicted which I of course hope will never happen).
