often when i do heroin i get irritable, (i also feel euphoric often) i know many people get edgy on opiates, but sometimes i get fucking furious, rageful and want to kick ass is this common or is the heroin revealinh a rage that was always there? PS I AM QUITE ANGRY RACHAMIM 18 HASNT RESPONDED TO MY PM'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heroin, opiates in general, does cause irratability, especially during the comedown. Its very common especially with oxycodone and hydrocodone. But i also get it with heroin, usually during the comedown, and i do sometimes feel quite homocidal. But, i feel homocidal even when im not on dope...
 
Negrogesic is right about the heroin part. And private messages are "private." If he hasn't responded to your pm's that doesn't mean you should call him out randomly in one of your posts. This post is probably only for the fact that you wanted to mention the whole PM situation.

i never get irritable on H! i love every minute of it. Alcohol however makes me wanna smash things!

Heroin has no come-down! That's the beauty of it... however withdrawl from the drug can make u pretty shitty.
 
Maybe not a comedown like an E pill would give you, but it has its own effects on you as the high wears off... such as irratability and fiending for more...
 
In my case, irritablilty is an understatement. I too feel homicidal on a regular basis, even when sober. however when im high the tendency gets exponentially larger. Hands down, what ultimately led me to start tapering off opiates.
 
i notice more irratability with pills than h. my exwife used to tell me that i was "crabby" when i was on oxy. to avoid this, try to fall asleep at night while you are still high, and then wake up refreshed and in a good mood! and jonesing!
 
Raas, you obviously haven't taken heroin at higher volumes because you would surely notice a significant comedown.
 
i cannot imagine getting raged on H, hell I can hardly imagine getting up and moving around let alone breakling shit.....but thats just me....

How do you figure? What goes up must come down, and this applies to heroin. After your shot you peak and feel good, but then when your blood-levels start dropping, you dont feel as good and there is a tendency to feel things such as irratability, dysphoria etc. Of course, the comedown with opiates arent nearly as pronounced as with stimulants, but there is a comedown nevertheless. Also, overdosing (overdosing doesnt necessarily means you have to be hospitalized, its simply taking TOO much) tends to cause dysphoria and irratability, as heroin (morphine) is a weak kappa agonist, but in excessive doses it can cause unpleasant feelings, dissociation etc. Oxycodone and to a lesser extent, hydrocodone, tends to cause more irritability than heroin, possibly because they are thebaine derivatives and can cause unwanted CNS-stimulation and are just less sedative in general. When oxycodone is injected (or snorted) it has a much sharper downward blood-level curve than heroin and thus the comedown is more noticable than that of heroin.....
 
i get incredibly irratable when I dose too high, when i'm coming down and sometimes methadone makes me feel like the tasmanian fucking devil. just the way it is, i suppose.

i think that i'm just irritable naturally, sometimes, and the opiates mask it or accentualte it, depending on sleep, diet and my given circumstances. but, rage? not really. the tasmanian devil comes into play when i find that i'm in la la land, and have a million things piling up that need to be done...whatever.
 
yeah sometimes im totally chill and other times i can be an absolute bitch. i guess if people are annoying me (in particular stupidity and drunk kids) i'm not shy about letting them know it when im high.
 
I never used to get irritable on heroin, or any opiate, I would do them very regularly. Lately however, whenever I do heroin it seem's I get almost uncontrollably aggrivated very easily. The last time I used I had a very bad panic attack. It's gotten so bad that it is very likely I will not do heroin again. Anyone know what could have happened? Or rather has this ever happened to anyone else?
 
yes, i've had a panic attack on opiates and or benzos, as ironic as that sounds. one time i was convinced that my throat was closing up, or something along those lines. anyway, i had a really strange buzzing in my head and felt like i was dieing (i probably was).

even once you quit the opiates, i notice there seems to be some lingering panic/anxiety. you can thank them for bringing out problems to the surface that probably would've came out later on in life.
