Heroin Addiction, trouble hitting (looking for femoral vein advice)

before i ever started shooting dope i had almost no veins. i managed to find some. unfortunatly now i can barely hit anymore. i want to learn to hit my fem. ive had other ppl do it for me. i know it dangerous i know i know. i should just get clean. easier said than done. but i need to hit a place thats not visible to others and easy to hit. any advice?

I've sorted out all your posts for you and gathered everything together here. :)

First of all I'd like to say this is quite the dangerous task that you've set out for yourself. You seem like you have made up your mind but we would not be upholding Bluelight's purpose of harm reduction if we didn't allow ample time and effort to be used first trying to convince you this is a poor idea and no matter what you believe at the moment you have other options.

Remember we are trying to look out for your best interests because we don't want anything bad to happen to you. This also means that there are people here who will help you inject into your femoral vein minimizing the risk as much as possible so that you don't go randomly stabbing into your leg, but first we have to make sure that there isn't a better way in which we can help first.

There are lots of people on Bluelight who have been in almost the exact some situation where you have been, and lots who have gotten out of it and want nothing more than to help those who are stuck where they used to be. Perhaps this is just the thing you needed to make a change or two in your life?

Anyways I'd encourage you to read up on the femoral artery and what happens if you puncture it, and if you'd like to share your story on how you ended up in this position I'd like to hear, I'm sure it would be appreciated by many others as well, and it might do you some good telling it as well.

It would be difficult for anyone on the board to guide you on how to go about this task. The only way to go about it is to seek the assistance of whoever you may be shooting up with. I know several people who do this and they DO NOT do it on their own. That said please consider the risk involved and probably try booting for a while giving your veins time to recurperate and also some exercise eg push ups go a long way in making veins visible eg the basilic vein on your bicep. All the best.
 
Have you tried doing it on your feet? Or looking out vein maps of the legs/arms and trying to map them out on your own body? I would definitely try reconsidering by doing this, as the femoral artery is so close to the vein.
 
I would try to hit any ware else than there, try your neck even before you go into your groin. IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING than are some veins that 3/8 to half on inch under the crook of your arm and even in your neck, that being said you go straight in at a 90* angle. Using a inferior needle will result in it breaking of in you so if you do it use a brand new rig....rethink hitting your 'funeral' vein.
