Opioids Heroin #4 - smells like fuel?

My buddy has some #4 (supposedly). When I was over his place I smelled it and it smelled strong almost like fuel or something. It honestly reminded me of the smell of cocaine. I could smell it through the bag. Is this normal? What does fire h smell like? I only knew the smell of tar which was more of a vinegar smell, but even tar I couldn't smell through the bag. It xyl/fent passed. Idk maybe they cut it with cocaine or something? Is that a thing?

it could be.. might have been smuggled in a gas container.. I would set it out and let the volatile chemicals disperse.

Does anyone know if gasoline or diesel fuel would be used in heron production?

I think it’s used as an organic solvent in cocaine processing aka the diesel blow.. but im not a chemist

Smuggled in a fuel tank would seem more likely.

#4 is usually made to a salt with a mixture of Acetone and hydrochloric acid.
Mind you Hexane, Methylbenzene (Toluene) and to a lesser extent Diethyl ether do give better yields so they’re a possibility.
