My hero is special, he's one of a kind,
Both physically strong and a powerful mind,
Funny, good looking, fun loving and smart,
He's also equipped with a genuine heart,
My hero is caring, shows respect for all,
He'll be there to catch you if you ever fall.
For a stranger in need he goes that extra mile,
He can make you feel special with simply a smile,
He's that guy you can't help but love having around,
If he's telling a joke watch the people surround,
Such charisma and charm you don't find all that often,
Such a contagious laugh makes the hardest souls soften,
He's turned some of my worst days to some of my best,
And he always seems one step ahead of the rest,
Not a soul in my life has played such a large role,
Without what he's taught me I'd never feel whole,
For all that I've learned I'm forever in debt,
Here's a few things he taught me I'll never forget.
Family always comes first and before any other,
Even when all you want is to strangle your brother,
A good sense of humor can get you through life,
And always show love to your children and wife,
Work hard for it always pays off in the end,
I'm working on that one, for now let's pretend,
Respect is for everyone, trust you must earn,
And some things in life you just know and can't learn,
Don't call it a failure unless you don't try,
Remember the strongest men break down and cry,
Learn from your mistakes, you won't make them again,
Know that often in losing you find how to win,
Treat everyone equal, be honest and fair,
Make sure all your loved ones know how much you care,
Money isn't life but Corvette's are still cool,
Margaritas taste best floating in your own pool,
