Opioids Herion(diamorphine) vs Opana (oxymorphone

Which one is stronger like mg for mg, which one is more addicting and in all sense a harder drug?
Reason why i want to know:
My friends are giving another friend alot of shit because he smoked black tar heroin and they all do opana(and other pharms) and i want to show them the hypocrisy behind there reasoning. Also i know iv heroin is supposed to give a amazing rush but would smoking/ snorting heroin be any worse than snorting oxymorphone or is it just the relatively short history of opana use vs the lengthy and (sometimes slandered) history of H that has made my friends believe that heroin is so much worse than opana?
I tried finding a converter with both h and opana but had no luck.

I'm not sure potency-wise, but I can tell you they are close enough that I consider them to be being hypocrites. I know people that did the same thing to me. It's just ignorance. Heroin has such a stigma. People love to hate it.

My 2 cents anyway.
 
of course its hypocrasy, most of the strong opiates are all very similar in what they do to the body and the addiction. the only added risk with heroin is it could potentially be cut with something harmful.
 
Just stigma, adulterants, and shooting culture as people have mentioned. Off the top of my head eating oxy is about half as strong by mass as shooting heroin (remember it's usually cut though).

There is nothing inherently "harder" with the chemical diacetylmorphine than morphine, oxycodone or any other strong opioid. I think this question is answered and we'll just be beating around the bush so I'm going to close it. In the future BDD is a better forum for dosing questions.
