hey guys. i am new here.. obviously. i am looking for support in rough times. i've been a long time reader of posts on this website.. never had the balls to join. but here i am now.

where do i begin? it all started back when i was a teen. pills are my DOC. i started out snorting, thanks to my surroundings. i wasn't instantly hooked. i could control myself. a couple years later, it all went down hill from there. i found myself spending all my money on the shit. never got a proper script. no drs to blame. in Jan of 2015 i got clean. went cold turkey. it was ruining my life. later that year i found out i was pregnant. things were great. i had my son, got my tubes tied and then it happened. my uterus is bad. long story short, my obgyn has been prescribing me perc 5's for the last several months. my body became dependent and here i am again. physically and mentally addicted. i ran out of my script and my dr is on vacation right now. so im left out in the cold. my boyfriend bought me 6 vic 10s, at a whopping 9 dollars a piece. i am ashamed. these will only last until tomorrow..then what? all i wanna do is lay down and cry. not worry about anything. idk what im really looking for here.. words or encouragement? i have surgery (hysterectomy) apr 4th. after that, im done for good.

thanks for listening.<3

I am in the same boat as you, are you planning on quitting now? Sorry if I misread the last bit. If so, great choice, stay strong. If not, and you're planning on buying more from a dealer. Don't, order some kratom (If its legal in your area) It's cheap, will help the mental cravings and should completely rid you of your withdraws. And It's much safer, very very hard to overdose. for the 9$ per dose you'll get 5-10 doses. (Depending on source).

You shouldn't do this otherwise though, if you've decided to quit now. Do it, it's a better and faster way to fix your problems. Kratom is still addictive, the withdraws are much much easier to deal with though. It's basicly swapping one physical addiction for another, but there should be less mental cravings with kratom, just a much easier and more forgiving way to quit.

Much better than subutex, methadone ext.

That's just my angle, check it out for yourself first :)

Hope your doing well, everything will work out life has a way of putting the puzzle together. I hate how much money i've spent, how better off I could be. But you've just got to look to the future I guess, focus on the present and the... future 8(

Hi there and welcome to the site,

We do have a sober living section that you can find here, maybe you can share your story and get some coping techniques for the next few days for when it gets rough.

I know that a lot of people swear by Kratom but it also comes with it's own problems and risk for addiction so please tread carefully.

Good luck

I agree with Rayman, a Tapering method, especially with Kratom should help in an exceptional manner. Don't forget that you should only use as much as you need to. Example; it'd be best to find a sweet spot dosage so your physiological processes can find satisfaction with your cravings.

And if it does become difficult I would advise you seek medical attention. Good luck =)
