Hey guys just figured I'd say hi and introduce myself. The name painenduser is a reflection of mylife.
Age wise Im in the top of the 30 somethings
I have end stage liver disease so I am in constant pain. I have been told by my Dr's that my pain is that of a person with Liver cancer, what that means to me since I dont have liver cancer is that I guess I can now empathize with other in that state.
2 years ago I almost died due to full renal shut down and although the Dr's told my family I would not make it, I have and so far I am hoping that I will beat the Dr's prognosis from 2 or 3 years ago when they told me I had onlt about 5 more years to live which means if they are correct, I only have a little more then 2 years left and there for I want to live out my time peacefully and in no pain.
For those truly taking pain meds for treating their pain, you know that we for the most part ostracized because of the meds we take. We get labeld, Addicts, Druggies, pill poppers, ect ect..
So it is nice to find a place that you will not be judged whether your taking your meds for relief or for fun, it doesnt matter here it seems. So for that I have to thank the forums creators. I don't have to hide in the dark when I'm trying to look for answers regarding my meds and a place that I can better understand the effects of medications from the trip reports and the other threads regarding meds.
The majority of my post will either be questions or responses to people for which from my experiences may be of use to someone.
Bottom line is it's nice to be aboard and look forwrd to getting to know yall and these forums!
