Here is a very interesting thing I read about Stimulants

Hey guys I read this question about stimulants on this website and I'd like to re-ask it. Here it is: "if i understand correctly...Wellbutrin is a dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor...stimulants such as cocaine and meth when taken in sufficient doses will flood the pleasure center of the brain with dopamine...opiates also flood the pleasure center of the brain with dopamine in addition to binding to mu receptors...
my question is that since Wellbutrin inhibits dopamine reuptake will it potentiate the effects of stimulants or opiates?? either boosting the potency of the high or the duration..."

MY question is could Wellbutrin potentiate other stimulant medications????

Yup I've taken Wellbutrin with Adderall and Wellbutrin with Methylphenidate...definitely adds to the effects.

Ohhhhhh interesting.
I have heard of Wellbutrin being prescribed with stims to boost it without adding more Mgs to the dose. Especially after the max dose is reached.
Is it just for rit or adderall as well? This would be handy for me in the future. I don't want to switch from adderall.
And is it more like the makeup of Ritalin?
I don't like Ritalin at all. Way too harsh and strong. Comedown is anxious. I would hate to feel that from my adderall, that has been unbelievable and non-crashing.I would hate to ever feel a crash again. I have been spoiled.

I am Rx'd both. It seems to me that at least initially it does. Tolerance always raises it ugly head
