Does anyone know of or tried any kind sof good drugs that can be purchased at your local Vitamin Shoppe or GNC?
i've done ma huang but it's not real powerful and i'm looking for something that is good but you don't have to take like 1000 times the recommended dosage.

Well, nothing, unless ya travel back in time to 1990 and purchase GHB.
Herbal stuff sucks, marijuana and salvia being the exceptions.

You can't find anything fun at GNC because everything that is fun to take is illegal... granted there are a few exceptions, like DXM and what not, but the truth is that fun is a crime people...

Eh, that's a half truth. There's a whole word of research chemicals out there, but a lot of them are less than desirable for one reason or another.
Salvia Divinorum's legal, and while it's nowhere near as "enjoyable" as marijuana, it's a strong, legal psychedelic with little chance of you offing yourself.
GNC is pretty bad, IMHO. As anti-FDA as I am, I really don't know about a store where over half it's products are based on junk science. The only herbal thing I'll take is ginseng, it seems to negate some of the negative side effects of fuckloads of coffee.

ok, salavia may be fun... fun for 12 year old kids who can't find weed... "Hey, lets smoke this and have cool dreams...", lets face it, its just some herb they found and decided to put it off as a "legal" weed so those desperate enough will go out and buy it... yes there are a few legal things that are fun and will get you fucked up... beer, nos, dxm... all legally and easily available (some age restrictions apply) and yes, they are all incredibly fun in thier own aspect... but the majoirty of them don't even come close to the capacity of fun and enjoyabilty as the shit the feds dont want you to get you hands on... i dont think i need to give examples, if you are here you know... salavia ain't no weed, dxm ain't no acid... the things just dont compare

salavia is allright... i'll give you that... but it doesn't beat the dankest of the dank... i only smoke weed... no cigarettes, no salavia, especially no crack... personal preferance maybe... but weed is just my thing... pot head yes... lier no...

Why are you even comparing salvia to pot? Both are typically smoked but the similarities end there.

Actually, THC and Salvinorin-A (that's probably horribly wrong) both have no nitrogen atoms. Which makes THC a bit more difficult to extract.
Salvia hasn't affected me much, for some reason, even though I've used the smoked plant material and the oral extract. Still, I've seen the state it produces in people who are actually getting something out of it, and you can see it's more than a cheap high.
As far as research chemical suppliers, your choices are severely limited, especially now. Still, there's some some stuff that sounds worthwhile - 2c-E and 2c-I being two such things. I can think of now way of acquiring them other than being a kick-ass underground chemist, or finding one and staying on his good side.
(Note: I am not a kick-ass underground chemist. I might start making my own liquor, but that's it for now.)

i agreed there was a whole nother world, never doubted it... i take part in that wordly regularly... i'm just saying its not nearly as good as the more looked down upon illegal world...
Fun in America has always been a concern of the government. Look at the sin taxes of early american history... liquor, cigarettes... all the so called bad but largely enjoyed things were taxed in order for the govt. to solve a problem and pay thier bills at the same time... the situation is the same with illegal drugs... the govt. is scared of them... some reasonbly, some not (obviously weed), so insted of trying to figure out a way to incorporate them in a safe manner they use old propaganda and scare tactics to misdirect us... and the war against drugs is one of the largest money makers for the govt... then most of the money goes right towards the war on drugs... we spend money on drugs, they confiscate the money, use it to stop the sale of drugs (and for the ocassional visit to the whore house)... its one big fucked up circle
in short, yes, there is a world of legal drugs that are fun... there i said it... everyone get that... but the legal shit is the best... period.

But you can't even compare Salvia to Marijuana - you smoke the dank krippy nugz to get all chilled and stoned, to laugh at stupid shit, get the munchies and discuss why "Scooby Doo" was actually all about marijuana use... you smoke Salvia for the short but intense trip you get from it - it sure as hell doesn't "mellow" you and the ONLY reason it's sold as "legal weed" is because thats the best way to move product... but saying "for the 12 year old that can't find weed" - you make it sound like a toy (like marijuana) when even someone thats not a fan (read: I) would consider it a powerfull psychedelic tool ...
But lets keep the pot-head rethoric over in psychedelic drugs, I am sure they will all be happy to rip you apart - 'err, debate with you the merits of Salvia vs Marijuana...

so if/when salvia becomes illegal it will somehow magically become worth your time?
MDMA used to be legal, pot used to be legal, acid used to be legal, in fact every illegal drug known to us was legal at some point until it was scheduled

“They”? I assume you mean the U.S. government. Salvia has been around a lot longer than “them” and has been used since before "they" were around. As far as I know the only reason it hasn’t been scheduled yet is because it isn’t popular enough (give it time).
P.S. Crystal Meth bunny you said you have smoked the plant and used the extract orally, but have you smoked the extract?

2. No, I haven't thought of smoking the extract. Next time I come across it, I'll give it a shot.
3. Diphenhydramine (Dramamine) really isn't worth it. My old roommate (the same one who tried to grow LSD on a slice of wet rye bread in my guitar case) tried it, and spent an hour or so being deathly afraid of a blacklight poster. It doesn't look that pleasant.
4. I don't think he's talking about the government, I think he's talking about the companies in the back of High Times that sell "Herbal Ecstasy" (expensive ass Ephedra), "Legal Smoking Blends" (usually something along the lines of catnip), or assorted legal highs ("Druid's Multiple Orgasm" or something) containing a bunch of Nootropics and god knows what else.
See, the major difference here is that Salvia actually works. Smoking catnip might get you fucked up, Ephedra might feel like a shitty, weak pill, and a big-ass dose of DMAE/Eye of Newt powder could possibly feel like a really horrible acid trip. Except Salvia actually has a psychoactive component, and was used by the Aztecs, or something.
