Hey man. I may be one of the few here with Hep C experience. I have had Hep C for possible 20 years. I am now in treatment for it - and treatment sucks. At any rate, if you, in fact, acquired hep c 2 years ago, it is likely your liver is still in fine shape. This means that your liver function is likely not compromised, and everything will metabolise correctly and safely. It isnt until you have stage 4 fibrosis (cirrosis) that liver function is impaired to the point that metabloism is affected. I wouldnt worry too much about it if I were you, but I absolutely would at the very least have a liver function test done at your doctor to make sure you liver is functioning properly. The liver function test only measures how well your liver is functioning, I was into stage 2-3 fibrosis and my liver function was still normal. I am now on a triple therapy clinical trial paid for by Novartis. It is basically chemotherapy and I feel like ass all the time. Get your liver checked. Hep C can kill.
Oh if you have any concerns about Hep C feel free to pm me.
