I have never heard of UGORG before. Seems like you're really lucky with the growers you know! That one guy who did the RB was also the guy who knew every decent grower around but he got done and gave up completely. Real Cali Orange sounds like it might be alright, but any buds covered in orange hairs make me feel sick as a dog for some reason. The more hairs it's covered in the sicker I feel. People up here are obsessed with berries and jack, always grown to a pretty horrendous standard which is why i'm sticking to this amnesia import, which by all accounts is much better than barneys coffeeshop on a good day.

Once i'm better i'm gonna get some travelling done, do a bit of strain hunting in each country/place I visit, and make it my mission to create the most sickly sweet 60:40 sativa dominant I possibly can. Much of the world has been scoured already, but i'm sure there are a few things left to discover somewhere. I might get myself a private tour of North korea and enter via Beijing. Weed and opium are legal there, and weed freely grows along the railway tracks. I think that's where most of the runderalis strains originate from, but i'm not sure. From what i've tasted of runders I don't like the strain itself so much, but if I could carry across some unique charicteristics or something that might be useful. So there could be something new or unique to grab along the way there. I've heard Western China has started coming out with some pretty banging hash recently, and there are still a few different strains to pick up over the border in that region around Burma, maybe even one of the 'stans that isn't Afghanistan or Pakistan might hold something precious and rare?! It's not exactly a reason to travel, but it seems like a nice little side hobby to progress while I go along. Then i'll finish down in Uruguay when they finally legalise weed down there %)
 
Real Cali Orange is not covered in orange hair, it just tastes of orange, smells of orange, lovely hazey flavours.

I am lucky with the growers I know, I did it for 20 years, and will prob carry on again one day when my son is either older and mature enough to handle the situation appropriately, or has left home. Anyway 20 years fairly growing made me a lot of dedicated obsessive contacts.

ruderalis is shit, it's only use is in growing autoflowering strains, which are shit.

but yeah, great hobby...the best grower i know is in his early 70's now, still breeding from rare strains, long lost strains he's been collecting from around the world since the late 60's....I grew out a few grows from cuttings he gave me, some temperamental plants to grow, but on another level in terms of complexity of taste and high....
 
Ah I did think the only real use for runders might be to make nice little stout ones or perhaps create new flavours, but maybe they've run their course now. Do you wear glasses when you go into the grow rooms? I've seen some people with pretty fucked eyes after growing for as long as you have.

That sounds like a fantastical journey MSB wow %) I'm a deep cannabis affectionado but do not have the motivation (lol typical stoner eh) to go a searching for the ultimate stone.

Rather than the weed being the "lead" I'm a believer in the mind, set and setting coming first and making the stone what it is for you at that time. I've had the same variation in a different head set and settings and experienced something completely different dependent on my physiological and psychological variants at that time. Maybe I'm saying its not about the strain but about the person and their use of it. Hence I talk less about strains and toke more with a personal vengeance =D

No, I did wear them for a bit, but i tried to go in there at lights out as much as possible, sometimes used a green bulb, as this didn't affect the dark period, but gave enough light to see.....

yeah, you're partly right about ruderalis, good for short stocky traits, very strong autoflowering traits, but very poor taste or aroma, generally very leafy, and not high in THC.

That said, Sweet Seeds, some very good Spanish breeders (mainly high yielding fruity hybrids, a la Dutch style) are doing some quite interesting autos now.
 
Best price around here is 3x 20 bags for £50, the bags are 1.8 each, so you get 5.4 grams for 50 of good quality weed, with strains changing every few days. Kinda got used to 20 bags that are less than 2grams now even though it's grim :/ The quality is always good though.
 
My weed situation is pretty fucked at the moment. I can only get it through 2 of my mates, not directly from the dealers. Both my mates that can get it can't be fucked contacting their dealers if they're not getting any for themselves, which leaves me sitting like a dick rattling for some weed. Lost any other contacts I had due to fucking hushmail closing my account. :|

Bad times. Still, I've got enough for a couple here so time to skin up %)

To the best of my knowledge I've never smoked autos, so can't really comment on the quality of the smoke, but some of the super autos about now are giving off huge yields. I can't find the link, but I read a grow diary on autoflower.net were some guy got 18 oz off one plant in an outdoor grow in Spain 8o. It was one of Short Stuff's plants. From what I've read it seems autos can put up with extreme conditions, so are useful for people growing outdoors were the weather's cold. Some guy up in Sweden got a yield outdoors with the temp between 1 and 12 degrees!

I've got a small outdoor grow on at the minute (and it's even smaller due to the shite weather we've been having), but next year I plan on doing some proper guerilla farming. Hopefully get about 60 plants out. You never fancied doing an outdoor grow Mailmonkey? Takes quite a bit of work, but saves you having to pay for bud and with very little risk

Will your mates not give you there dealers numbers crackhead?
 
Na, one of them is some pure para cunt (possibly the grower) & the other one normally only deals in much larger bits than an oz at a time but is just doing my mate a favour because he's a friend of a friend. I can't get it direct from them at all. I do know folk I could buy weed from but it's always soaking wet & totally shite, I'd never buy that shit.
 
Ahhh that sucks. I fuckin hate not being able to get decent bud, I get proper anxious when I haven't got weed (the joys of psychological addiction haha!) but like you I refuse to get skanked.

Some online sites shipping the US dispensary stuff look awesome, and the shit they ship is insane. I know it's a bit higher risk and all, but the buds are hovering around the £200 an oz mark and they look sweet.

UGORG puts out some amazing old school strains, ive smoked the smellyberry/killerskunk and really really want to grow/smoke smiles/oldtimes but the opportunity has not arisen yet

i've got no weed at the moment but 2x types of hash, soft moroccan flat press which is very nice and some shite soap bar effort (better quality than soap bar of old but still not great)

I can get 'lemon haze' which is not lemon haze at all but some very citrusy smelling bud at the moment from about 10 diff people, has been around a few months... either a large import has arrived or some massive grow has been g'wan on all varying from £180 to £220+ JOKER prices, i'll wait for my mate to get back from ibiza to get some perfectly cured psychosis cheese for £170, but who knows when he will return 8)
 
Just got back from amsterdam, said i would have a break from smoking for a week or two, lasted one day got offered some commercial skunk at £55 a q, been nicely dried and cured very unusual for this type of commercial skunk. Happy days.
 
Got 5.5g of actually pretty good dry... er.. 'skunk' of some sort, for £50. Looks like one of the white strains, no idea which one. Way more than I'd like to have paid but as I've only been smoking very low grade for a few weeks it's having a fairly pronounced effect on me. Nicely dried, not cured, encrusted with trichomes, overall I'm not too unhappy.
