That is absolutely mental. You could easily fly to Amsterdam buy an oz and post it home for less than that and it would be a much better oz too.
 
I've been getting ounces recently ranging from £180 - £240. I actually got a quarter off my mate who'd picked up a £240 oz, then got an oz off my other mate who'd got one for £180 a day later & the weed was identical lol. The £180 one was coming from a guy who knows the grower directly & the £240 one was from a guy who buys it by at least the kilo.

It really is a case of who you know. I know some folk who are happy to pay tenner a g or sometimes even more than that - 1.8 score bags & shit. That can get to fuck. I point blank refuse to pay that. Seems to be more & more normal now for anything under an oz to be sold as "tenner bags" or "score bags" rather than weight. I tell people to fuck off with that, I'm not here to buy what you decide is £20 worth of weed, I'm here to buy 7g - tell me a price.

We pretty much always buy it by the oz now because of this. Sometimes I'll get one myself or I'll go halfers or threes with folk on it.
 
My volcano takes care of any real consideration that I have to put into the price of the weed. 2 grams lasts me and the hole 4-5 nights and that's getting proper proper baked off of it. Spliffs seem to wasteful now, but I still love them.

I can't imagine how, even with a vapouriser, a gram would last me 4 nights. I think I would just get a lot more stoned with a vapouriser, as opposed to smoking less.

I go through about a quarter a week on average. Often more though if I've bought an oz. It's amazing the difference in the amount of weed that goes in 1 joint when that big ziplock bag is full compared to the amount that goes in 1 when it's starting to look empty.
 
Yeah we were smoking 1-2 ozs a week when rolling spliffs and smoking all day. We get 3 bags out of 1 filling of the nozzle, so we get 6 bags a day off of half a G. It's not too bad. If you go overboard with the vape I find it really fucks you up. You wake up feeling so muffled you can't work out 2+2. Without getting into a cock measuring contest, the weed that lasts us that long is top shelf amsterdam haze.

A quarter gram would do me about 1 joint (I think, I haven't exactly weighed an individual joint's worth recently).

I keep meaning to invest in a vapouriser. I think I'd go all-out & get a volcano rather than a cheaper one if I was going to do it. What's been putting me off recently is the talk of only really getting the THC high as oppose to the CBD as well, I reckon that could be a bit brutal anxiety wise.

Yeah i'd say we probably put 1/8-1/4 of a g in the vape to get 3 bags. The high was really schizo for me, but now that i've got used to it it's alright. I was also addicted to the baccy with the js :| I'm not fully convinced by the health benefits of vapes either. When you use a bag for ages some sort of resiny substance collects on the inside, not disimilar to tar. I guess you use less so it's better in that way at least. It was definitely worth forking out for the best volcano I could get (not digital though, i've heard they break a lot). They've brought out a new one that's like a handfun with a nozzle attached to it that looks more handy than the bag filling method.
 
I like smoking joints (as oppose to pipes/bongs) so the bag would probably suit me better. I like the fact that you can fill it up then just kick back & casually smoke it. Other vapourisers seem more like a pipe or a bong where it's just a few quick hits. I like it to take a bit of time. I enjoy smoking a joint just as much as I enjoy being stoned.

How many tokes roughly do you get out of one bag?
 
one with a whip might suit you better crackheed....a bag is better for a few huffs, but if you leave it for ages the vapor just starts to condense on the inside of the bag...I had great plans of filling loads of bags with vapour and taking them out fishing with me one night...

I've got an Arizer XtremeQ, is about half the price of the Volcano, but has a bag option, and a whip option.

If I want a big hit, I'll fill a bag, but if I want to sit and toot here and there over a period I attach the whip instead, it's not releasing vapour from your weed while you're not pulling on it.

AND, it has a remote control!!!
 
Ahh right, maybe the bag isn't the best option then. That sounds alright if you can just load it up & take a draw whenever you want without wasting your dope. I've bookmarked it for when I have some spare cash. I definitely cannae go spending that kind of money on a jumped up hash pipe right now!

What do you reckon to the THC/CBD thing?

I always leave it a while to condense in the bag because i'm worried what will happen if it condenses in my lungs? Is there any point in that? Do you notice yourself coughing up shit the day after if you've had a break from it too?
 
if it condenses on the inside of the bag your lungs aren't getting the vapour. The residue will stick in your lungs. BUT, it's not as bad as the tar and products from combustion, nor anywhere near as much.

A (tobacco) smoking friend once pointed out that the stem on my MFLB had a fair bit of tar on the inside, true, but I'd probably had about 50 vapes through it, imagine the state of a cigarette filter, or a glass bong tube after toking, combusting that amount of neat weed through it.

It's not without harm I'm sure, but it's a lot safer than smoking.

I don't use it anymore, just for dmt, or for putting lavender flowers and essential oils to make the place smell nice. Smoke spliffs again now.

THC/CBD thing, I used to vape at a lowish temp, 175, 180 I think...then I used to save the vaped weed for making a bed for vaping bubble hash on ;), or as abed for vaping dmt....

I use more when I just vape, I can easily cram .4 - .5 into the volcano bowl thing. I find I use loads more doing it that way because the vapor is so smooth I can do lots of bowls after each other. If I make a 1g joint it normally fucks me up for a while and doesn't make me want to smoke again straight after.

I have honestly sat chasing a high with the volcano a good hour, before giving up and having bongs, sometimes it just doesn't hit the spot for me.

I love the vape when I have a low tolerance after a break but its a bit shit when you have a tolerance.
 
does anybody use a pocket vaporiser, I like a smoke when I am out and about but smoking a pipe isn't always practical.
 
Magic Flight Launch Box, i don't vape any more, so will let you borrow mine to see if you like it before you buy one. Very portable, easy t use, and very stealth.

Someone else is giving it a trial at the moment, I''ll get it back and you can have a borrow if you like, they're excellent...can use them inside pubs no prob, in houses, no one would notice after the first few seconds of a fleeting whiff....

Sounds like what I need, I am tired of sheepishly emerging from foggy toilet cubicles or lurking suspiciously in laneways flicking a lighter with a pram in tow.
 
Is it just me or are all these smoking contraptions a bit gay. Give me a decent spliff or a bong at least, anyday.

Quite enjoying this moroccan. Hardly smoke the stuff anymore but been enjoying it this weekend :)

The last moroccan I had was very nice too, hopefully it's still doing the rounds. Got really into lil lemon haze and I'm not a big weed one, but I def have more of that. Am on my mini-sabbatical...so better get out of here.
