totally disagree, have you used a no1 grinder?, theyre not like all the other cheap plastic shite. Im going through a fair bit of weed and they last for at least 6 months and grind better than any expensive metal grinder on the market. And never have i once seen a tooth brake.
 
Not used a 'No 1' grinder no but looking at it on the net it is exactly the same as the pound shop one I have, it works good enough as a grinder but they don't last very long and are difficult to clean, still no where near as good as a decent metal grinder like a sharpstone that will last you for life

plastic grinder vs metal grinder is a bit like lada vs lamborghini, sure they both get you from A to B but one is clearly better than the other

we will have to agree to disagree, looks can be deceiving these are decent pick one up if you see one, ill refund the £ if your not happy ;)
 
I just had a root around for mine, it says grassleaf No1 on it and it had a bongs worth of weed in it which i did not know about, good call glowing aaron :)

It only cost a quid i suppose and for that type of money you can't go wrong

I truely disagree here, the metal ones grind far worse in my opinion due to the shape of the teeth, the ones that try to imitate the plastic ones are even worse.Much prefer the consistency you get out of a cheapo "Original No1" plastic one.

They deal with slightly sticky weed way better too.
 
I've always found metal grinders to be far better. I wouldn't even consider buying one of those cheap plastic ones with the diamond shaped teeth. Also, I want one with the wee crystal catcher thing at the bottom - always nice when you run out of weed to find some stuff in there to keep you going.

I'll have a look at that one you posted Watson, never used with that handle thing on it before, just ones that you twist as normal. Does it make much difference?
 
it makes grinding weed that's a little damp and usually hard to grind a little easier but at the cost of it being less pocket friendly, one of my mates has the same sharpstone without the crank and i'd be just as happy with that really
 
I'm gonna order the one with the crank & probably another one of those tiny head chef ones for taking out (this'll be number 3, I wonder how long it'll last before I lose it again). The really small ones aren't practical for in the house, sometimes takes two goes to get enough for a joint.

Caught a video on Youtube of the Sharpstone one, looks quality.
 
For me best place for grinders is ebay, just get a good medium sized one that catches crystals. Sorted and it's much cheaper than the headshops.

Blues and grass are the best thing ever after a candyflip, have felt fucking fantastic all weekend.

It may be possible that it was just a cheap poor quality grinder, but a mate of mine bought one of those crank ones for a few quid (wasn't exactly cheap) from a headshop and it stopped working fairly quick, the crank just became shite and you had to use it like normal but it was much more awkward. In the beginning it was great though.

I used to grow this once upon a time. Then I switched to Jack Flash. Both epic fucking strains. Miss them dearly.
 
Not bought any smoke for ages, but smoked a bit recently of this real nice weed -- dry, cured, good high and got fella's number today, going for 5€ a gram so if I get this job tomorrow n some more work I think i'm gona get some weed in to celebrate. It's nice to have around, even if I don't smoke much any more. Tbh i prefer smoking solids, but this is GOOD weed for the price so why not..
 
The trick is to rip the stalk out first. I don't know anyone that grinds their stalks in. Also if you do get lil bits of stalk they tend to end up at the bottom anyway making it easy to avoid putting them in the J

Understood.

I'm so used to watching people shove the whole lot in as I think to myself 'why would anyone in their right mind wanna smoke stalk'?
