mostly 12.50 per gram around here. Fair enough it shouldn't be that price but the weed is nicer than it usually is. In the last week or so iv had a choice of amnezia haze, lemon haze or some other random high grade stuff, all of which i was happy with!
 
Wish I could get my hands on some nice hazes regularly! You can't beat a nice uplifting sativa in the sun, hope I can get some haze or sour diesel in over summer. I would definitely pay a bit more for it. All there seems to have been for the past couple of months is bloody 'cheese' aka indeterminate pungent indica. There did seem to be a lot of lemon haze around last summer though so hopefully the local growers know what's up and have some nice leggy sativas growing as we speak

Sativa's are my favourite too simply because i dont mong out and im still able to get things done while being really high lol. Its usually all damp early harvested crap with bits of higher grade stuff usually indica though. It just seems to be luck that iv been getting nice hazes recently, i hope it keeps up!
 
Suprised by the Arizer vaporizer, I reckon the bags are as good as with a Volcano!

I got the apparatus in the post today and chucked in 0.3gr Amnesia Haze, set the temp to 205 and made a balloon. Milky vapor, expands in the lungs. The balloon is pretty large, it took me three hits off it to empty it. Filled another bag, from the same weed, but with the temp at 220 --> even milkier vapor. By now I had just two balloons (six inhales) but felt a monster high creeping up. Made a third bag from the same weed, just to make sure I used it up, tho the flavor of this bag was very popcorny and spent. I was feeling proper scatterbrained and confused for a bit, just from this 0.3gr nuglet-- at least as much as if I'd smoked it in a spliff with bacc.

I'm well chuffed with its balloons. Is pretty bitchin' to have a Volcano(-Lite) at home %)

Awesome, i was needing convincing to buy this, if the balloons hit as well as the volcano im gunna get one, dont you find the high a bit empty though? that seems to be my problem with them, the high is just not as satisfying as a joint
 
definitely the bags are as good as volcano bags.

my missis hates huffing from bags, she went to a bad comprehensive in the mid 80's and there's a stigma about huffing anything out of bags for her now =D

but the arizer has a whip/pipe too.

I don't like the high as much as a spliff, I bought it when I was diagnosed with high blood pressure before an operation, and I decided I had to stop smoking...I kept using it for weed for about 3 months after the op,and then went back on the spliffs...Turned out I only had high blood pressure through worrying about the op....

I used to vape the weed at 185, then chuck it...I was growing my own at the time so it didn't matter that I didn't wring every last bit of CBN/CBD out of it...

I do have a pot of the vaped weed i saved, I use it as a bed for dmt now...

But IMO there's no difference between the bags from the Arizer, and the bags from the Volc.

I bought roasting bags when the ones that came with it got too manky, same thing and obviously non-toxic.

I have been using the Q for a few days now and I'm still impressed. I have been filling bags of Lemon and Amnesia Haze on the lowest fan setting, at about 195-205 degrees. Thick lush vapor. The whip works smoothly as well. Plus, it appears to be easy to connect the 14mm whip-end or the bag-end to a bong, for water-filtered vapor.
The whole kit is well-built except perhaps for the base unit which is a bit light, and nearly every part is replaceable at decent prices in several headshops in town. The bowl and heating element could have been larger, ala Volcano, for more hot-air-to-weed-surface contact at once & even stronger bags, although I can use fill the small-ish bowl with 0.4 to 0.5gr easily, which will produce two or three impressive bags with the right weed.

A coffeeshop nearby has started selling several sorts of "wax" and "full-melt" hash, check out the menu below. The wax is thick paste, nearly pure THC. I've read some very good reports on vaporizing strong hash/extracts like that (honey/butane oil, budder, etc).

BCF, even at hotter temperatures the high IS lacking some of the grit of a (baccy) spliff. I'm still smoking a few half-spliffs on the side to scratch that itch. Clearing a huge sativa-bag is closer to a taking proper large bonghit :D

Hmm,I haven't found a reliable way to seal off the bags yet. The Volcano bags mostly have this valve-system at the opening for temporarily storing a balloons but I haven't yet found an object that act as some sort of valve or a stopper for an Arizer bag.

Hmmm, yeah, I ddunno about sealing a bag. Why do you need to?

Replace the bags with oven roasting bags. Very cheap, and you can have a range of small, medium, or large, depending if you want a quick toot, or a massive bag to share.
 
I would want to seal bags mainly so that I can fill up three or four of them, and then finish them off one by one in rapid succession :o

Oven bags = good tip though, I'll just get a XXXL Turducken-sized oven bag.


I am about to order a few vials of hash oil from a great source who just dropped their prices to somewhat-reasonable level. Should be 73-80% THC. I heard that vaporizing hash oil is very good if you do it right. Can't wait to fill bags with it.
 
at 185 in the Q it gives off cloudy vapour, not thick white vapour, really quite thin..

lurching you vape at quite high temps....have you tried a lower temp? 175c gives a very clear thc high...if it's too edgy vape the same weed again at 210 or so...

The vapor from my super silver haze bowls is DENSE (thick?) and expando at about 200-205c. Might just be the potency of these buds. I've read that the temperature that is displayed on the LCD is measured at the heating element and is therefore slightly higher than the actual temperature of vaporization.
I also do like to fill the first bag up at a lower temp, 180-190, preferably pre-heating the glass bowl first, but I find that it'll pack substantially less punch then ... and I haven't found a moment yet where I wanted a subtle pure high like that-->maybe at the studio session in the morrow's morning.
 
Been smoking some pretty wicked new stuff the last couple of days. Arjan's Strawberry Haze it's called, really does smell fruity and taste sweet unlike the usual woody kind of taste you'd expect from a lot of sativas. Seem to get lots of energy and mind racing off it, very positive and uplifting. Feel great infact.

Also got some NL#5 x haze too, which is a bit stronger and tastes more hashy, not sure which is better.

NL5xHaze, if it's real, will PISS on fucking Arjan's Strawberry haze. Any strain from Greenhouse is bullshit, if what you've been given is actually what it's claimed to be.

I went to buy 25g's of NYCD earlier. Lovely bloke gave me 28g's cos it was just 3 colas, and I tuttted about the stems =D

Lovely smoke it is too %)

It's definately stronger, but it's what I always get. Considering the Strawberry haze isn't even cured it tastes brilliant, not even the top buds either. Nice clean headed sativa high, more functional for day time.

The NL#5xHaze has been cured for a few weeks and is the very tops so it's obviously going to be better. That NYCD is immense my mate was saying when he was in Dam, I had the choice of it or Kali Mist a while back, took the Mist, which was also amazing anyway.
