I used to buy ice hash from a friend "at cost". very strong stuff, very melty. RIP ;/

Another friend, he used to live in a tiny narrow 5-story house in the middle of town, I'd buy his Super Silver Haze in bulk at very decent prices. He's an old-school grower dude that delivers to coffeeshops and the like, great guy. I lost touch over the years as I smoked less and less, but his SSH still stands out in my mind as the best I have ever smoked.

Had a smidge of weed t'other day that worked out at nearly £15/g. Was nice enough weed but fuck prices like that. Y'all smokers need to go on strike until the price drops below "I can't believe we're getting away with this - fukkin morons still haven't complained!" levels. Oh yes you do. All of you.

My limit would be about £20 a gram for particularly nice stuff, but even that's taking the piss really.

When you consider that vegetables like brocolli are something like £3 per kg and I can't imagine weed is much harder to grow.. and I know people are paying for stealth and all, but... blahhh.

Why? As has been mentioned elsewhere - the UK has so much weed we export it to Europe (apparently - not sure I believe that though). It's profiteering pure and simple. Back when almost all weed in the UK was imported you expected to pay a premium. Hardly any weed is imported now though - it's mostly all grown here and on a big scale too. Prices should be the lowest they've ever been but instead they just go up and up. Cos people don't seem to care about having the piss taken out of them :\
 
Well... I barely smoke at all. Can get top-notch stuff if/when I can afford it. Gramme lasts me 2-3 spliffs at most. Sans tolerance cos what's the point in smoking if you don't get stoned? Hence why I mostly smoke cheapo resin if/when I smoke at all these days. Even at my lightweight I'd have to spend £20-30 to get stoned for a single night if I smoked weed.

Utter. Pisstake.

And all of y'all who pay £10/g (or thereabouts) owe me as a result. Is you pricks that ruined it for us normal human beings. Pricks.
 
Coffeeshop Bushdoctor sells some very rare sativa strains that are extraordinary fragile, difficult and time-consuming to grow. Many of these types can't be found in any other shop in the country, or anywhere else. They charge 12-16 euro per gram but that is one of the cases where I'll happily splurge. IF I'm in the mood for a stimulating sativa.

So while I do spend cash in coffeeshops (often 10+ euro p/gram) if it's a particular type of smoke that I want, but usually I buy a bit higher on the ladder where prices drops dramatically. Paying 50 euro for 10 gram Caramello hash now, which will last me a week, if I supplement it with a gram of a coffeeshop-bought haze.

I fucking loved the Caramello hash in 'dam.

I plan on living there for 6-12 months at some point. How does one go about purchasing more bulk amounts of quality weed/hashish?

Also got some Kandy Kush from Canada, wish I could post a photo it's so crystally and has such a nice fruity smell. £200 a oz and it's on par with the kandy kush I had in Dam, while the stuff that's £270 an oz in my area is nowhere near that good. Weed prices here fucking suck. Probably down to my last few grams but luckily my Magic Flight Launch Box vaporiser arrived and fuck me does it make weed last longer. Loaded up a 'trench' which is like a really small bowl can't be more than .2 or .3 in there and that got me high for a few hours without even really browning the weed at all (the weed is supposed to be finished when it's all brown). Much easier on the old lungs and throat as well, plus it tastes fucking peng. Best way to consume weed imo. The high is much clearer and more euphoric too.
 
My friend gave me two free sample grams last week. As it'd been a while since I'd last smoked, the first night had me uncomfortably stoned from a single smallish bong hit. Last night I managed to finish about half a bowl of the same stuff to get the same level of stonedness. Maybe I'm an uber lightweight as two grams of top quality stuff will easily last me three weeks of nightly smoking.
 
I wish growers would stop harvesting early and allow the actives to balance themselves out more. Nowt worse than super speedy paranoid weed when you're trying to wind down for bed.

I looked at the current range of vaporizers and the Arizer Q seemed like an afforable (160 quid) Volcano, with balloons and digital temperature control, reviews were all positive, the machine looks straight-up badass, so I ordered one--will have it on wednesday!

Not sure why I was waiting so long, I liked the vape that I had (until it broke down in 2008 ), and I've liked every balloon vaporizer I've used elsewhere, plus I'm on a mission to reduce lung dmg (trying to eat most of my hash nowadays) instead of 4-5 spliffs aday (I'm not very succesful with that yet).
 
I have the Arizer XtremeQ or whatever its called.

Its fucking ace,as good as a Volcano (even though Volcano owners won't admit that), but you also have the option of smoking through a long whip direct from the vape if you fancy a change from the bags...

And there's a REMOTE CONTROL!!!!! =D
 
I bought that one, the Arizer XtremeQ v5 Chrome (lol?), very nice looking glassware but the remote control was the deal closer:

Will give the whips a try, sounds kinky, tho I look forward to filling extra-strength balloons more.

How do you like the temperature on your machine, MM? Or do you just heat and fill the bags up by staring at them real 'ard?
 
Nowt, and I'm not planning on stopping the spliffs, just cutting back a lot. Smoked for 10 years daily, 4+ joints a day during half of that. Too much of my family seems to be dying or have died of lung complications (all of those were smokers), plus I'm just trying hard to get the cardio/aerobic fitness possible.

Also, hitting a balloon that is properly filled with the vapor of 0.5 gram of haze will convince you of such a machine's worth :D

I haven't used mine for weed for well over 18 months.

I use mine for DMT now, or for evaporating essential oils into the room to cover the stink of the fucking dog =D

The thing is, everyone goes on about how economical vaping is, I didn't really find it to be the case. I used MORE weed when I was vaping, thats why I only really vaped when I was growing my own. Now I'm payng for it I'm back to spliffs.
 
£15 a g for pretty poor quality Moroccan Hash here in Jersey!

Price seems to go up every time it goes dry for a few weeks (which is regularly here)...
