Opioids Helpppp!!! Painful rash all over body after injecting tar!

Ok so i am freakng out! Let me start off by saying i, unfortunately, am a heroine addict. I inject heroine daily in large amount. All w have around where i live is tar. this moring i did a large shot and almost immediately broke out in a painful rash all over my body. it coverd me in red swollen bumps that itched and hurt. even my face my lips were swollen and hurting.i have had one or two similar occurrences in my time of injecting tar but this is the worst. i immediatel took two benadryl and took a long cool shower. It has currently subsided a great deal. as you can imagine this is very very troubling to me and quite scary. If anyone has any info on what the hell this is all about please please PLEASE TELL MEEEE!!!!! THANK YOU
 
That siad - don't freak out too much, shit like that isn't that uncommon, happens sometimes, dirty gear, dirty fit, etc.. I've immediately broken out in rashes before, after a shot - and never had any serious issues as a result. But please do just go and get it checked out - Bluelight cannot diagnose this for you and they definitely can't fix it over the Internet.
 
Sounds like a result of histamine realse. Not unusual with opiates. If its calmed down with anti-histamines, and a cool shower then you are okay. Only need to panic if you cant breath, and your face swells to significant proportions.
 
I've heard tar has a bigger histamine release then Ecp I'm willing to bet it's that
 
Tar is basically the shake n bake of the opiate world and as such has loads of impurities that can cause severe histamine reactions.

If i had to guess id say your tar had high contents of a codeine analogue and this caused your problem.
 
I'd say you are sensitive to the histamine release since its happened before. There is some really pure tar I mean as pure as it can be, then some that has a ton of other acettlated alkaloids in there which could cause diff histamine reactions batch to batch. Could be a cut but since u stated benedryl and a cold shower helped so much I'd say histamines.
 
That does sound like more than a simple histamine release and more like a true allergic reaction...

Obviously, if it's cleared up, chances are you'll be okay for now...but don't continue to use from that batch..obviously!

And in the future, don't come to an online message board for help with medical emergencies!
