Helping hydrocodone WDs, with Morphine Sulfate

Hey all,
So yeah that's a stupid question, I know. I just finished my last bottle yesterday of liquid Hydrocodone/acetaminophen (7.5 mg/500 per 15 mL)
I planned on trying to get off the stuff forever....I thought I tapered the right way and apparently, I didn't. The WDs aren't killing me, yet.... But I am feeling really weird and having accidentally detoxed before, know what could be coming.
Also with this bottle, I never took more than the 15 mL dose, and no more than 4 times a day...But I have been fighting this addiction (either vicos or percs) for, oh about 10 years, more on them than off...
Anyway, I have a half bottle of mophine sulfate, 20mg per mL... Can I take like 1/4 of a mL just to take the edge off the shitty feeling I have now? I have had this bottle for MONTHS and just never wanted to "go there" ya know? Sigh... Now I'd just like to take a little of this stuff to help me feel better. I only have 15 mL of the bottle left, since my husband almost cut his thumb off he took a couple of doses (he isn't into meds AT ALL, and said he didn't feel "good" at all from it, just made him fall asleep and didnt even help much with his pain...big bastard.)

I took a mg of xanax to take the edge off, but not helping with the other weird shit I feel

Do you have any possible way to get suboxone or subutex? They would do the trick very well, and you can do a 5-day taper pretty easily from small-dose dependence / wd's.
 
No :( I did a google search and the suboxone seemed to be the way to go, but no dice finding any here. Thanks for replying though
 
Many of the mods have an opiate conversion website linked in their sigs, give that a look; you can use it to take an appropriate / slightly lower dose of the morphine sulfate. You could always try a basic titration using .1ml at a time if it's possible given your equipment.

However you're absolutely correct in your apprehension of switching from one beast to another. Best of luck!

The one good thing about this little bottle of MS I have is its TINY and I won't be able to get anymore.
I don't even care to get the opiate energy/euphoric rush at this point. I just want to shake this weird feeling. And avoid the dreaded diarrhea LOL

Edit to add, I was just going to take it orally, like I do everything else =)

Wait as long as you can, and take as little as you can. Finding an opiate with a very long half-life (partially why bupe is so effective and popular) will help, as it will gradually leave the system and provide for less "peaks and troughs."

Get on a quality, stable diet (whatever eating habit is good for you anyway), and do a bit of exercise (go for a walk, a few pushups, dips, small leg workout like lunges - all but the walking easily achieved indoors).

This will help you feel better and pass some of the effects more quickly.
 
Is the half life on the morphine long? I honestly don't know that much about it.

We planned on eating healthier and working out more after the new year, so that should work into my "plan" well.

We'll see how quitting cigarettes works too lol
