A friend of mine came over last night with a bottle of 7.5 mg vicodins. I had already drank about 4 beers when I took one at 10:30 pm.. I took another 1 a couple hours later, had another beer, than took another vicodin at 4:30 am. So overall I had 22.5 mg of hydrocodone and five beers. I have no tolerance. I woke up at 5:30 am today and threw up several times... it is now 13 hours later and I still feel like death. Any suggestions to stop the nausea and shaking that I am experiencing?
 
13 hours later? i assume the tylenol has something to do with you being sick, i can't see 22mg's of hydrocodone lasting that long even without a tolerance.

My guess is the tylenol and beer that is making you sick.
 
The damage is done. Learn from your experience. Never mix alcohol with acetaminophen or opiates again. It could kill you next time.
 
Yes it's most likely the combination of the tylenol and alcohol that gave you an upset stomach and made you start puking. 22mg hydrocodone isn't that much, even mixed with alcohol, though i doubt it helped much. Learn from your experience bro, don't mix alcohol with vicodins anymore. I had a similar experience years ago when i took a few percocets and drank 4 beers. I didn't throw up but my stomach was killin me all night

I was thinking it was ibprofen .. I didn't realize that there was tylenol in the pills I took... I guess that makes sence though. Thanks.
 
Also OP try and refrain from making a title that suggests there is an emergency, there is no reason for this, a hangover isn't going to kill you. Although if something ever does happen that you think might don't post about it on bluelight just call 911 haha. I know it may be obvious, but you'd be surprised.

I don't really see what a physician can do at this point.. The damage is done, he/she just has to ride it out. There isn't really anything he can take to prevent the nausea after over dosing himself (by that I mean dosing more than his body could handle and getting unwanted side effects i.e. nausea).

What you should do is DEFINITELY get fluids in you..you are getting dehydrated throwing up and stuff.
 
Best thing for a hangover in the morning is a shot before you get outta bed! 8o


Just kidding. (it does actually work if you don't puke it up, but, alcoholic much? haha)

Most of what i would actually recommend has already been said though. Fluids/lots of water and juice, rest, then exercise, eat healthy, vitamins, time. You should feel better the next day.
 
I think this has run its course... you got a lot of great advice and hopefully you're feeling better now. If you'd like to have this reopened, feel free to private message me (and please include a link to this thread).

Research before you use in the future and be careful and you should be able to avoid a lot of the unpleasant consequences.
